If the info is good why does it matter if the site is ugly? Bleacher Report is dog**** but it has a fancy site

two kids from our backyard here in Miami. a young, heathy TE could revolutionize this offense. Defenses wouldn't have enough personnel

I'll be curious to see how far Tabor falls. Given the red flags, I probably wouldn't touch him until the 4th or 5th, but he is extremely natural in coverage, has excellent instincts, and he's as good as any CB in the draft at breaking on the ball. He's slow, but he's in Lippett's range, so his (lack of) speed isn't a deal breaker for Miami. 54 is WAY too rich, and I think he carries too much risk to draft at 97, but he's one of the more interesting players in the draft.

Willis and Njoku are studs, and Corn Elder is an alpha - may be my favorite player in the draft relative to his skill/talent.

Overall, I'm very encouraged by the players Miami's been meeting.

Which is also why it's a good idea to stay away from nfldraftscout... I mean, why trust the best source of workout numbers if the site doesn't look fancy.

NFLDRAFTSCOUT has us taking Lamp and then Willis in round 2. I'd be ecstatic.

Lippett ran a 4.57 at his pro day. Tabor ran 4.65-4.70.
They are NOT similar speed wise.

All local colleges or local ties right? Not sure about Jordan Willis, but I'd be fine with drafting him. In a 43 he looks like a good rush end. If we were to switch to a 34 he could probably play LB. I like his physical ability, his mental makeup, his drive and dedication and his lack of a major injury history. he would be a great Padawan for his idol Cam Wake.

Because when you have to spend extra time navigating a poorly designed website just to read poorly thought out mock drafts and player evaluations, it does make things worse.

At the NFL Combine, Tony Lippett ran a 4.61; Tabor ran a 4.62. Pro-Day times are less reliable, and teams will view Tabor as a 4.62 CB, not a 4.72 CB. With regard to speed, they're very similar.

Corn Elder will be a vicious slot-corner for us. His build is perfect for the slot and his hard hitting would help in the run game. Get soft McCain off the field, replace him with Elder and I bet our run-D improves. Book it!

So we've only met twice with three candidates for 22? And only one of them wouldn't be an "ugh" pick. Not promising.

Agreed. I hope he slips far enough into the fourth round for us to move up for him. Perfect corner for us to replace one of the biggest weak spots on our defense last year who is just absolute garbage (McCain).

Lippett is faster.
