Miami's secondary kept a very good core of recievers from making big plays. This game did have some hype, even though the main player wasn't in the game (Thanks Pepp). Harrington threw to 7 different recievers. Defensive leaders are doing what they always do, making plays and winning games. Jason Taylor is playing like an animal. Yeremiah Bell is playing every game like its his last. We have to remember here, Saban is a defensive minded coach.

It was an OK performance by the defense. They essentially won the game by getting those turnovers, but other than that I don't think they played all that well. At least a win is a win.

The only thing the defense struggled with was stopping the run. The big reason for that is because Traylor is out. Other then that, the Defense played lights out.

Thats a sign if a good defense. Look no further than Chicago and their team. If the offense cant get anything done then the defense will take over. This is what good defensive teams are supposed to do.

Man this tells alot of the D.

Yeah, other than scoring 14 pts and winning the game they didn't play well. :rolleyes2

Well they allowed just the 10 points from the get go then had an awesome goal line stand that may have saved the game. They won this game today so I'm not to sure how you can knock them.

yea very true. that makes me worried tho. what are we goin to do without Traylor next year if he goes? we are screwed! Wilkinson isn't half the man traylor is.

no the defense that really impressed me was minnesota aside from our two td's on D

they allowed less rushing yards after todays game then before the game
that is one of the best run defenses ive seen

If our defense can score a couple touchdowns Thursday we may have a chance of beating Detriot. Otherwise, it's hard to win if our offense scores one touchdown a game like they've done in many games this year. But I'm glad we're winning.

I think that bodes by saying Minny had 7-8 stacking the box and daring us to run....

They dared Joey to beat them throwing and for the most part Joey had a very good game... He drove the team to the 3 yds line and then we fumbled at the beginning of the game...He hit CC for the TD that was called back for a PI...He drove the team for a FG and missed...as well as he did make some throws that our WR's failed to come down with...

This game should have been a blow out by MIA but we failed at critical times on O...

the defense won the game, they have won the games since chicago

if jason taylor was not on this team i would not want to think how this team would be

he stepped up in chicago and today

They completely shut him down in the 2nd half and caused 2 fumbles on him. Minny only scored 3 points that weren't off turnovers once you dump that last minute drive.

The defense once again saved the offense's hide.

They shut downn Chester Taylor in the second half only giving up 20 yards or so and forcing 2 fumbles and scoring 2 touchdowns on defense. How can anyone say that the defensive performance wasn't good.
