Guys, I dont think that we should write off any of the picks yet. I know that we all make our presumptuous assumptions as they get drafted, however our front office must see something in who they draft. I feel that when all is said and done talent is what makes the difference between being an average team as we were last year (considering tom brady wasnt playing which always a factor and our league numbers were all at the median apposed to turnovers which was a bright spot) and being a good team.
For all of us who were posting on this site just one year ago about how we need to shore up this team and build from the inside out (which we have done to an extent) now its time to get play makers. Maybe we can take a page out of Urban Meyers philosophy (even though it is in the college game) "If we have the fastest team with the most play makers that will be the difference and we will win." I understand there are some doubts, but I say give it all some time to judge because I think that the front office has a bit more knowledge of what they are doing. In order to be a great team we need play makers in all reality.
I think that Miami is realizing that being our division is loaded with talent and constantly upgrading (ala:Moss in N.E., T.O. in Buff, and NY sadly adding may on its defense as well as Sanchez who is from a great system with numbers similar or better to that of Palmers at USC), we need to go about doing so and being that money isnt something we are looking to spend via free agency we are going about it in the 'developmental manner.'
Let me know if you guys agree or disagree or simply learnt something form my statement. Also please feel free to add any remarks or corrections?
