Well, we're another week into the season and after yesterday's games.. here are the teams we root to lose..

Jets
Buff
Cinn
KC
Denver
Jax

Sweet! I like the approach. Just give us a list every week, lol.

BTW, Denver plays KC. I'd probably rather Denver won that game, wouldn't you?

Hopefully Jax loses tonight. But next week they play Buffalo and I think I'd rather Buffalo won that game.

The Jets play the Texans. Let's hope for the upset.

Cincinnati plays Cleveland...another upset would be nice.

Just one more team to add to that list, that is the Steelers.

i need to carry this list in my pocket during dolphi games.....this playoff picture is complicated...lol

R Remaining Schedeule:

at Detroit (easy but Det my not want 2 lose this 1 becuz of it bein Thanksgiving

Jacksonville

New England

at Buffalo

NY Jets

at Indy

We have a very difficult 6 game stretch 2 end the season, but heres 2 the hottest team in the NFL 4 the second season in a row

How'bout we just root for every AFC team to loose. If 2 AFC teams are playing each other then root for the one with the worse record. Oh yeah, Miami can't loose any more either.

Yeah I think our most realistic chance (still long shot) is to aim for last wild card spot. In that case we really should worry about:

Jets - lose 1 more game and to the Fins
Bengals - lose 2 more games
Jaguars - lose 1 more game and to the Fins
Chiefs - lose 2 more games
Steelers - lose 1 more game
Bills - lose to the Fins

Dolphins - win out schedule!!!!!!! 10-6

The Chiefs will finish ahead of Denver, so you might need to figure in Denver instead of KC.

You might be right - I will be convinced of that after Thursday nights game. Good luck to you guys!

If the Dolphins win out we're in. I know you can go batty with the crazy scenarios etc but that's a pretty fundamental thing is that 10-6 teams don't generally get snubbed from the playoffs. One factor that is in our favor are head to head wins over the Chiefs and Jags assumed in a 10-6 finish.

The Chiefs got snubbed at 10-6 a year ago, and Miami got snubbed at 10-6 in 2003....but those represent the only two instances of it happening in the AFC in the last 20+ years.

If the Jets finished 5-1 that would be the scenario in which we wouldn't make it. But they won't. They're just not that good. Everyone loves to talk about their easy schedule but the Jets didn't just lose to the Bears, Jags, Colts, and Patriots...they also lost to the Browns. So it isn't like they're perfect at putting away bad to mediocre teams. They could lose to Houston, Buffalo, and/or Minnesota...even Oakland.

Win each game and let the results take care of themselves...and they will.

Thanks

Yesterday was huge for us, we were able to squeak by the Raiders without rushing anybody back. Thursday night we get Brian Waters, Greg Wesley, Tony Gonzalez, and Derrick Johnson back. We will be at full strength for the first time all season when we play Denver.

After us Denver plays a healthy and desperate Seattle team, and then goes to San Diego. They could very well be 7-6 in three weeks.

Yes, three cheers for the team that waits until they are out of it until they start playing well. F'ing chokes if you ask me. 8-8 tops.
