Playoff Power Rankings

Why would we be ranked over any of those teams?

Arizona Demolished us when they played us, there is no reason we should be ranked over them.

The only things I really can take issue with is the coaching ranking of 8th and RBs 7th behind atl and QB 7th. The rest I agree with.
Here is a little test that might show how much of a homer you are. Imagine for a second that us and the ravens were merged together to make one team. How many of our players would be starters?? Ronnie maybe, no OLman including Long at this point in his career. Maybe Carey. No WR or TE. Defense Maybe Porter?? and that is it. Bell would have to be on the field but not over Reed. I mean there are those out there who will disagree but if you stop and think about it we don't have a roster that can compete. We have accomplished what we have accomplished with heart, passion, teamwork, great coaching, and mistake free football. Out of 22 starters we would put maybe 3-5 players on the field. Think about it.
 
This truly makes me happy. We are an underdog kind of team. This is what we are. It's time to turn some heads. I'll be happy when they have us losing next week, too.
 
Personally, I would rank the Chargers and all 4 NFC teams that are playing this weekend behind the Phins. And I definately think we are capable of beating any of these teams in the playoffs. I dont think any of them are far superior to the Phins.

We know what we have to do to win. Zero turnovers and very few penalties will give us a chance in every playoff game we play.

The AFC is tough. I feel like any of the 6 teams are capable of winning the conference title. In the NFC, I dont think any of those teams are capable of winning the conference other than the Giants and Panthers.
 
I think any team that went 11-5 (yes Miami even with their weak schedule) should be ranked higher than an 8-8 AFC team.
We also got beat by 21 against the Cards back in Week 2 before we decided to bring out the Wildcat and turn this season around.
Honestly if you want to say the whole head to head thing works than ya you can rank alot of the teams ahead of us but it's whatever.
The Ravens message board was laughing at it alot also.
 
Perhaps a little too much love for Matt Ryan as well. He's ranked 4th, ahead of Superbowl winning QB's Eli Manning (5th) and Ben Rothelisberger (8th) as well as Superbowl (and extensive playoff) experienced QB's McNabb (6th) and Delhomme (11th). Not to mention playoff experienced QB's Pennington (7th) and Collins (9th). All of this while being a rookie QB with obviously no playoff experience whatsoever.
 
This should be our new logo, and mascot. Everyone bring Underdog gear to the game Sunday. LOL

I would take Pennington over Flacco in a heartbeat. I would also take Jake Long (even at this stage)
 
Wow thats the least amount of respect I've seen us have so far! I mean come on we're below Minny, San Diego, and Atlanta? And on top of that Baltimore the 6th seed is 4th overall? LOL

Man I hope we ride this train all the way to SLAM the Door on those BS analysis!
 
Last I heard, Sparano has no plans on conceding the game Sunday after seeing these standings, so I think we will be ok.
You win games on the field, not on ESPN.com.
 
Power rankings lol. when did we finally climb out of the bottom 3rd in the league, December? Power rankings are no less a popularity contest than the pro bowl. Brett Favre lol.

Where would NE be ranked on this list?

Until a column labeled "team intangibles" shows up on this chart it is worthless!
