So let me ask you this...

We obviously cant play the Broncos in the 1st rd...so we'll have to beat the Ravens or Pats.

Once we do...and say the Broncos win against their opponent (Indy as always) ...how is home field advantage decided?? We'll have the same records...both division winnners.

Would we play in Invesco or MIA!? My bro lives in Denver...so theres a very good chance I could go see that playoff game if it occurs...otherwise ill have to wait till we get to the superbowl to ever go see a game.

I hope our path leads to DENVER!!! Anybody have any insight?

Only way Miami and Denver can play is in the AFC championship game and if so it would be in Miami barring any wierd happenings in week 17. Miami would more then likely be the 3 seed and Denver the 4. So 4 would travel to 3, 2 or 1.

If we make it as a AFC Champs then we would play either the Jets, Pats, or Ravens in the first round in Miami. We would go in as a #4 seed and would play the #2 seed in the second round. That would be either in Pittsburgh or Tennessee depending on who is the one seed. The only way we would host the Conference Championship is if Denver or the Colts make it to the Conference Championship.

I think if we win the division I would rather have to play the Ravens in the first round. New England is a tough matchup for us. Then I think it would be better to have to play the Titans in the second round and hopefully Indy or Denver would beat the Steelers to make to the Conference Championship and that would be played in Miami. All that said we still have two games left so it's still a little early to think about it.

Records no longer matter once the playoffs begin. The high seed ALWAYS hosts.

Here's how it is; We screwed the pooch when we lost to the Pats. Now we have to win out or we're screwed.
untrue. pats would have to lose next 2 games and we can win 1 lose 1 and still make wildcard same as the pats would have given the ravens lose again. Unlikely and i would rather grab the east anyway

For divisional purposes, Pats just need to lose one of the next 2 . . . if they do, we are allowed to lose against KC and beat the Jets and still win the division. If we win out, we also win the division.

For wildcard purposes, if the loss is to KC - we need Bmore to lose their last 2 and New England would win out. We would be the 6 seed. If the loss is to NYJ - we need Bmore to lose their last 2 and New England to lose against Buffalo. We would be the 6 seed.

To the OP - We are eliminated from being the 4 or 5 seed. We can only be the 3 seed or the 6 seed. Win the division = 3 seed / Win the wildcard = 6 seed. The highest seed always hosts the lowest seed in the NFL playoffs.

My playoff projections:

1. Pittsburgh - (13-3)
2. Tennessee - (13-3)
3. Miami - (11-5)
4. Denver - (9-7)
5. Indy - (11-5)
6. New England - (11-5)

(Jets finish 10-6, Bmore finishes 10-6, San Diego finishes 7-9)

Miami hosts New England / Denver hosts Indy

If Miami and Denver both win, then:

Pittsburgh hosts Denver / Tennessee hosts Miami

The only way Miami could host the AFC championship game is if they beat Tennessee and Denver beats Pittsburgh. Denver CANNOT host the AFC championship game if Miami were to win that first game against New England. If Pittsburgh beats Denver, than Miami would go to Pittsburgh for the AFC championship game.

Youre so lost. I didnt even read the rest. We cant get the 4 seed. If we win out(which is the only realistic chance of getting in) we are the #3 seed automatically. And the #4 dosent play the #2 in the 2nd round unless one of the wildcard teams beats the #3 seed. The #1 seed gets to play whichever winner from week 1 of the playoffs is the lowest seed remaining.

Its really unreal to see how lost ALOT of people are around here with this stuff. Its like EVERYDAY there are at least 30 people or so posting something WAY OFF about either scenerios, seeding, or potential matchups in the playoffs. Its like you guys have never followed the league before in your lives. Its not complicated stuff. At least 10 new threads everyday on the same things. There are probably 4 or 5 playoff scenerio threads talking about a wildcard when the probability is around ZERO that we can capture a ****ing wildcard.

Its real simple. Win the next two and were in as the #3 seed and playing either the Ravens, Pats, or Jets. It will most likely be the Pats and possibly the Ravens if they beat the Cowboys. Its pretty clear to see the Pats are going 11-5 and if the Ravens beat the Cowboys they will get in over the Pats when they both go 11-5.

We lose either of the next two and we go the **** home.
