a #5or #6 seed will not give us a home game unless we would be #5 and meet #6 in the AFC Championship game....a #6 seed will NOT give us a home game...period.
A #4 seed would guarantee us one (vs #5 seed) home game.
To capture the #1 seed
- KC must lose 4 of 5 games (@SD, @ Denver, @ Minesota, Detroit Chicago)
- Indy (@ TN, @ Houston, NE, Atlanta and Denver) and TN (@ Jets, @ Houston, Indy, Buffalo, Tampa) must lose 3 of 5 games
- NE must drop at least two (including one against the Dolphins) in there last 5
- Dolphins have to win out
To capture #2 seed
- Indy (@ TN, @ Houston, NE, Atlanta and Denver) and TN (@ Jets, @ Houston, Indy, Buffalo, Tampa) must lose 3 of 5 games
- NE must drop at least two (including one against the Dolphins) in there last 5
- Dolphins have to win out
To capture #3 seed
- NE must lose today and Dolphins must beat NE next week
- with NE mostlikely to win its last 3 (Jxv, @ Jets, Buffalo) we must also win out
To capture #4 seed
Same scenario as #3 seed with the possibility that we could drop another game if NE does as well and the AFC north winner would win out.
My dream scenario:
1) Indy beats Pats
2) Jets beat TN
3) We beat Pats
4.) Indy beats TN and loses to Atlanta (with Vick) and Denver
5.) TN loses one more to Tampa
6.) we win out
Voila...6 scenarios and we are #2 seed
Hey let's make it a mircale....
KC drops to SD (they almost got beaten by Oakland) and to Denver @ Minnesota and one more...(pick your poison between Chicago and Detroit)...lol
It isn't really that hard...
:D
