Sure a lot of you are butthurt today of the disgusting showing on the field. Hell, I'm livid. We all can express our hurt and have all day. However, there is zero excuse for you "fans" actually wanting the team to lose. Nothing about being a fan, nothing, has any intent to lose a game with the desire not to make playoffs. Who cares about getting one better pick in the draft....so what? Who cares about maybe losing in the first round...although we would be playing a team we beat.

Playoffs mean our franchise QB and otherwise young team gets playoff experience. They will "get" what it's all about. They will have tasted blood and want it again next year. Not to mention get Cam Wake something I believe he has earned.

Playoffs mean a shot. It's not as if we are playing anybody we haven't seen if we gèt in. We can win one or two. If not, oh well. We are now more appealing to free agents if in.

well, if you want to still wish the fins lose and miss playoffs then please allow me to show you the door. Nobody wants your crap here

I think the OP has hit upon a strong point. Even if our playoff experience is a repeat of the 62-7 loss to Jacksonville, it is playoff experience and being there will teach the young players on the team the type of effort that is required to win in the playoffs. So, let's get in and get this valuable experience. And then, let's be realistic about the fact this team is not significantly improved over last year's team, needs significant work, and only got in because the AFC as a conference is very weak. If we get the experience and are realistic about the need for improvement, and do something about it, we might have some hope of being better next year.

I doubt that they truly want Miami to lose but instead use it as their way of saying that we do not deserve it after that performance.

Swept by the Bills, held scoreless today. Lost to a practice squad QB twice. Do we deserve the Playoffs. NO

You don't "deserve" playoffs over one game but instead a whole season. If it were solely on "deserve" we would have been in after the pats win.

Disagree Dude. We are a 500 team if we Lose next week. If we win one game over 500. We are not close yet to winning the AFC East. We may squeak into the Playoffs, I hope we do, but we are average...Good Teams Don't lose to the Bills Twice.

I'd be more comfortable if we squeezed in hot. Backdooring it with anemic wins and a one and done in embarrassing fashion isn't what I signed up for but will have to do I guess.

Bad teams don't beat the Bills, Colts, Pats, and Steelers at Pitt. Goes both ways man.

The NFL must change the time of our game and move it to 4:15 ET: if we win and Baltimore does as well, the Chargers will already know that are eliminated and could very well loose to KC, meaning we would be eliminated.

Besides, too thing I originally posted is incorrect.

Our franchise QB lacked one thing coming out of college- experience. Getting in would mean more experience. Hence, why would you root against that?

Players want to play for winners. Getting into playoffs gives you a leg up over 20 other teams for free agents.

We can win. Who will we play if we get in. Bengals or Colts right. Who says the team from last week doesn't show up? Who says we don't win. One thing is for sure, you'll never win a game you don't play.

Maybe I'm hyper competitive and just don't understand the mentality of wanting a team to lose or " deserving" to get in. I'm glad I don't understand it though.
