Referee: Craig Wrolstad
Dolphins' history in his games: 1-5
Steelers' history in his games: 2-2
Wrolstad's crew called the second-fewest penalties per game in the league this season (13.5). Its conservative nature was reflected most noticeably in pass defense; it had the second-fewest penalties for either defensive pass interference, illegal contact or defensive holding (23) in the league. ... For context, consider there were three crews that called 53 or more such penalties. This is the kind of information that both teams' defensive backs could use to their advantage when preparing for Steelers receiver Antonio Brown and Dolphins receiver Jarvis Landry, among others.

1-5 with this crew........greeeeaaaat........:bobdole:

Hmmm. Conservative in pass defense calls? Could help with our secondary more than theirs. McCain especially.

Also, recent history with the Dolphins is:
A) not good from pretty much any angle
B) doesn't really seem to apply this year

True, I just saw that 1-5 and thought here we go again, it seems like almost every time we play them we get screwed on at least one ridiculous call if not 3 or 4.

I'm not happy they won't call holding, which Wake gets held a lot. The 2 illegal motion calls last week were complete BS and the announcers said as much. Aside from that, I believe Gase really needs to improve the teams dicipline especially Landry's PF's.

1-5 with different Dolphins teams. This is different.

Well the defensive passing calls definitely favor the way our DBS like to play.

This could help us since our defense had the most penalties of any other team
in the NFL with 68 compared to the Steeler defense who had 39 defensive penalties
