Does anybody think we can still be in the playoff's?

Not unless we win at least 5 of the next 7. I'd say we'd probably have to win 6 or 7 since we haven't beaten an AFC East opponent yet.

I think 6 wins is the minimum that we will need to have a chance.

Even if we beat the Pats in the finale, we would need the Pats to lose another game, their schedule is not very tough the rest of the way.

Anything is possible I guess, this division really has fallen down this year.

Forget the playoffs this year. Maybe next year? I sure hope so.

someone from the afc east will be in the playoffs.

its to early to tell which team will go.

The only chance is to win the division and right now you are 0-3 in the division so things aren't looking good. The 2 WC leaders are 7-2 and 6-3 so the last WC i 3 games ahead of you w/ 7 to play- that is a HUGE #. You alos are 2 games behind KC and have lost to them, 2 behind SD and play them later.

As for the division, you are 2 games out and are 0-3 in the div meaning you'd have to win your final 3 AFC East games(I think Buf & NYJ are possible at home but no way at NE) and most likely go 6-1 the final 7 to win it and that's not happening. You have gotten better and if you wind up w/ 6 or 7 wins it's a major improvement so take that and come back next year where you'll be more legit contenders.

the Phins legitimately could win 5 games....but i doubt they'll beat the Chargers and Pats and they'll probably find a way to slip vs. the Raiders or Bills or something.

Big question would be....Do you want to make the playoffs. Honestly, the worst thing that could happen for the future of this team is to go 8-8 and make the playoffs. That means we pick 20-24 in the draft. Which means we miss out on the top 3 QB's probably, and the top 2 LT's. Now I always want to win, and get upset when we lose. But keeping them close and playing hard in loses isn't the worst thing right now. Saban is learning who his players are, and who the pretenders are, and can build up from that next year with a full slate of draft picks, and $25 million in cap space.

I have to agree, going 8-8 and making playoffs would be bad, just because at 8-8 there should be a decent pick for the team, but then playoffs negates that. But then again I was pulling for the Dolhpins vs the Pats thinking of playoff hopes.
The team has to, has to, win division games, not to mention home division games. If that cannot be done, then forget about playoffs, as we can see so far this team struggles to win on the road, and within the division. I had low expectations (5-11, just so I can call it an imrovment) so I'm actually satisfied the team can hang in there vs tough opponents. To me that shows signs that this team is missing 1 or 2 key players. 1 key player on each side of the ball would be huge this offseason, but for the offense that one key player needs to be a QB if nothing else.
