I would be very upset if the FO traded away my favorite player this year.. I know it is a buisness and he is getting old for runningback standards, but he still is one of the best backs in the league. Plus i would think it would be dumb to trade him because next year if there is no CBA reached he will become a RESTRICED free agent. And then we can offer him what we want and if someone wants to pay more then they will have to give us their 1st and 3rd round selections. This is what makes most sense to me because we can try to get him for a bargain and if the price is to much we can still get a lot in return..

SO PLEASE FO DO NOT TRADE RONNIE!!!

The only way I see RB traded is if the trifecta knows something we don't...IMHO

I agree with 67stang , when i heard about this posibility I would hope that they trade for boldin not some guy who has underachieved like Edwards.

I love watching Ronnie and i dont want us to trade him.

like 67 just stated there must be somthing going on I just hope we are not going to let our afc east rivials make blockbuster moves while Miami makes boneheaded moves .

I would be very sad if this front office trades Ronnie Brown this weekend. He is finally hitting his stride and is coming off a Pro Bowl season. Yes, he will be a free agent after this season, but there is no reason why Miami can not extend him. People thought there was no chance we would re-sign Channing Crowder, but not only did re-sign him, but we got him back for a pretty friendly contract.

Even if Miami does not re-sign him, they can always place the franchise tag on him. Then they will have the choice to keep him for 2010, try and continue to work on a long term deal, or even trade him.

Please, do not trade the face of the franchise.

I think that unless someone offers a high 2nd round pick that we don't have to worry about it. If someone does offer us a pick that high I think we find a decent replacement for Ronnie that way. But if Ronnie stays I won't be complaining. :)

I'll admit I'd be a little wounded if they traded Ronnie. I've become a pretty big fan of what he brings to the table.

But you support the team first and the player second. In the end my loyalty is still to the team.

I have no problem with people that dont want Ronnie trade ay all costs but this NO cba thing does not really hekp us with Brown. HE and his agent will not want to be a restricted free agent and this would be problematic especially considering he was a hold out as a rookie.

I don't know which is funnier, the rumor itself or people actually worried about it. The Dolphins are not trading a Pro Bowl running back who just had the best recovery from a complete ACL tear in sports history. The truth is on the opposite end of the spectrum as Ronnie Brown is only going to get an increased roll in the offense next year, so be prepared to see a heavy load of RB next season.

If the Dolphins trade RB, I will seriously quit being a Dolfan after 23 years and over 20k spent on them. I am disgusted at the lack of loyalty by some of the fans wanting this to happen. The grass is almost never greener on the other side. This is a guy that has given his heart and soul to this team and the fans, and many of you can't even appreciate that.

When we went 1-15 he still played every single game like it was going to be his last (prior to the injury). He didn't care what was going on around him, he played like pro and earned every penny he was paid. I'm seriously disgusted by some of the fans wishing for this trade...I've followed runny since he was playing HS Football in Catersville, GA (I used to live near so it wasn't hard) and after Marino he is one of my fav players.

Hopefully the FO is not as dumb as some of the fans here.
