Please, enough with Davone Bess returning punts!!

As long as we are content with a guy who jukes while standing in place and has no chance of breaking one, then we should keep Davone Bess as punt returner. I am fine with him as a slot receiver, but please pull him as punt returner.

Agreed, he is horrible. When they do put Ginn back there they allways put Bess back there also. That is one less blocker, makes no sense.

I got a laugh when the announcer said it's a low punt, these are normally returnable. I thought, not when it's Davone Bess, with the speed of a parking meter.

Yeah, I think the Bess experiment as a punt returner has run it's course. Originally I thought he could a solid if unspectacular returner, but his mistake are becoming too numerous. Ginn or Sheets have to be a better alternative at this point.

Yes he sux as a returner, but other then Ginn, we don't have a single burner on this team. And if we put Ginn back there, he's just going to head straight for the sideline as he's afraid to get hit.

Ginn would be much better returning punts for us. Considering that is one of his talents! I enjoy Bess as a WR but enough with the punt returns! Ginn does need to man up a bit more out there.

I don't think Ginn could return punts........he wouldn't have enough time to run out of bounds.......untouched.....:rimshot:

Ginn running in space is obviously how he can help us, and since he cant catch a pass thrown from a QB, letting him return punts is another way he can do that...

Bess is a snail out there and muffs it too much. Let Ginn return the kickoffs and punts thats all he is good for.

He is simply a bad punt returner and he isn't even a safe option any more as he has muffed a few and fumbled one.

The only way we can have Ginn return punts is to have a guy there to catch the ball and hand it off to Ginn, because we sure can't count on Ginn to catch anything.

bess scares everytime hes returning punts. he is a constant threat to drop the ball. thats the worst kind of fumble.
