Please help me here with our home crowds at games...

If the heat is not a problem, the owner wouldn't have made a huge fuss over adding a canopy. Who wants to roast in 90 degree weather for a team that has consistently been mediocre for years? There are a lot of fans here, but trust me, their spirits have been crushed by the Dolphins time and time again. Most have become pessimistic or realistic when discussing this team. Which are you?
 
Been to plenty of games and usually make 1 home game a year. Yeah, it might be hot but nothing has kept me from being in my seat at kickoff or after halftime.

Honestly, the heat excuse is weak at best. The 15 min of shade at halftime doesn't mean squat over the course of the game.

Weaker than the "I can't make it to every game because I live far away and I am too poor to fly down for every home game" excuse? The heat is totally legitimate reason for people not being in their seats for 3 straight hours, especially when you add in all the awesome stuff inside the stadium (which was a mistake, IMO). No, actually, you nailed it, that family behind me were a bunch of *******! The heat would toughen those kids up! You ain't a man (or a woman, considering they had both) until you've had a little heat stroke as a kid!

Here I thought the original post was a legitimate question and we were having a good discussion, but ti turns out it was just another "blame the fans" whinefest.
