I love this site, because I feel normal around you nuts. Honestly I always thought I had a problem being the type of dolphin fan I am. So thank you idiots like me. OK I have haven't missed a snap preseason or regular in twenty years, but yesterday I had to work, all I had was the game day thread. So instead of bitching about everything maybe an update here and there. All I got was big run Jay. Not looking for play by play but dawn someone should have said 57 yrd run.

If you're ever in that situation again, and have access to a computer, open up another window and open up Fox Sports. Click on the Dolphins game score and I think something called their Sportstrac or trax opens up. It's a graphical representation of the field and the play-by-play appears underneath. It's great side by side with the Finheaven game thread.

Fortunately for me we locally had the game on radio.

Adam does such a great job creating and preparing the GDTs. It is a shame how abusive and ridiculous this thread gets everytime . I feel for you and believe me I felt like just shutting it down yesterday.

I use "the score" app on my phone. Play by play as well as tweets, stats, etc. All updated immediately.

Yes, kudos to Adam for starting these threads each week.

I love the GDT....for the football folks that try keep up with the game and share a thought now and then...it is fun. You can't let the small handful of posters who as soon as we have a punt think the game is over get you down....the GDT is a great way to spend some time with fellow fins fans.

If you don't want real time, for instance, have been gone for the day and are catching up later, profootball reference posts play by play descriptions under the "box score" category. Also great if you want to revisit a game in the past to do some research. :up:

Maybe have a separate thread for play by play? I usually stay out of the game day threads except at half time and after the game because there is just too much going on.....but I think it serves it's purpose for some to vent and immediately state what they are feeling.

In refernce to the OP it just gets a little hard to give details cause your watching and typing in between plays etc so..unless your really good at that sort of thing. Its funny, if you read other GTD for other teams there just like ours.

Remember someone did a parity of another teams thread and assigned user names for our site, it was spot on!

If you need a play by play I always use the espn ff app
