Please remember that we just beat a football that that has quit for the season.

They didn't quit until we made them quit.

A lot of their players came to play especially the DL.

Powell, Petty and Enenuwa definitely gave it a 100%.
 
True. But the fact that the Dolphins have not is enough for me to celebrate unabashedly.
 
The 14 Jets were dead too and they knocked us out of the line playoffs. Out of football Dee Millner had a pick lol.

Jets are a bad team, yes. My take from tonight is that we go on the road, in December, in the cold, and dominate. Its momentum and confidence that they can now take to Buffalo next week.
 
Still, to go into a division rival's home in December and beat them by THREE touchdowns is pretty damn impressive no matter what their records!
 
Yep and it feels ****ing great.

Under Philbin, we were the ones who quit in December.
 
Quit? I doubt it. As a rival team, I'm sure they had every intent on knocking us out of the playoff picture. They just didn't respect the pass and loaded the box because they thought that was the only way to beat the Phins. They thought wrong. Up until that sandwich by Petty they played like their jobs depended on it. So don't tell me that the only reason they won was because the other team quit.
 
Adam Gase, Matt Moore and the entire team deserve more credit than just saying "the Jets quit".

Come on guys, did we not see them on the goal line? How they stuffed the run? Them jumping on us 7-0?

This team made them quit, they didn't come into the game a "defeated" team.
 
Old Miami loses to AZ after being thrashed by Baltimore. Old Miami loses this much needed division rival game on the road. Old Miami loses next week in Buffalo in a possible playoff clinching game. Old Miami does not exist anymore. This is new Miami. Almost there.

Agreed. I didn't see a team that has quit.
 
The Jets were down by 14 against the Niners and still came back and won the game. They quit tonight because we absolutely destroyed them in the 3rd quarter. Very impressive game by our guys, especially after the slow start.
 
OP how about letting the team and fans enjoy this victory. Because we all know had the Jets won you would not have made this thread with that title.

I have been saying for weeks that I think the Jets had quit on the season so it would be hypocritical for me to say otherwise now and pump us up like we're amazing for blowing them out.

I'm just happy.
