Please share my joy- We're back!

Friends,

Many of you on this forum were with me at the time of my father's death and then again through the long illness and death of my wife two and a half years ago. You wept with me and lifted my spirits. I am always in your debt.

Today though, I ask you to rejoice with me. This evening I asked a delightful lady to marry me and wonder of wonders she said yes!

Sue is a friend of many years having served on the call committee that brought me to Defiance back in '95. We began having dinner last spring, talking about a mutual friend who had cancer and things grew. We risked moving beyond a friendship and it seems to be working out.

Our plan is to get married in a small family service with our kids in Chicago in May. The presiding bishop of the ELCA has allowed us the use of his chapel at our national Church offices.

So have a smile on our behalf and remember us in your prayers.

Thanks,

Pastor Keith A. Hunsinger aka Ohiophinphan

In my time of loss, it is my great joy to celebrate with you the renewal of your happiness.

I am thrilled for you and I am honored that you shared this wonderful news with your extended family.

Life truly is one big circle and God replenishes what circumstances has taken away.
