Every time I log on I see all these Beck threads. Miami needs a QB, everybody seems to agree on that. He may be there now. Beck was drafted in the second round, nothing we can do about that now. Henne is a great pick up and I hope Chad P. stays healthy and can deliver two Jets wins plus many more. I have no feeling on Beck good or bad. I want the fins to win. I hope BP and Tony make the right choices for this team. I feel they will. Beck was thrown into a bad situation that got worse. Henne has two preseason games under his belt. McGowen is a journeyman and CP, I hope, can help develop whomever we keep while pulling down some W's. All of these gentlemen have good and bad points. Can we please wait and see how this unfolds. I feel good about this season and the new regime that has come on board. None of the gentlemen are taking over a winner and rebuilding may take more than one type of QB. Please cut these guys some slack for awhile and give them time to get comfortable with the NFL and all the new faces. When I see these threads I think of Brett Favre. His first year he was traded-he had great arm strength but little else. He sucked. Now he's Brett Favre. I liken these threads to the 1-15 season. They are redundent, we know how they will end and little progress is made. All opinions should be heard and respected but this comes down to a trust issue. Can BP and Tony make the right decisions. I wish the Dolphins the best of luck this season and hope whomever QB's has the backing of the entire dolphins nation.

Some people on here won't be happy until Beck is gone, and that is more important than what the team is doing. They bash him and praise Henne every chance they get, even though Henne has a low 61% comp rate and has yet to score a TD even when he has our starters against another teams reserves. Don't get me wrong, I want Henne to suceed, but he hasn't been lighting it up as some will have you beleive, and the bashing won't stop until Beck is off the team. sad, but true.

I liken it to a mob mentailty.

"Beck Feeding Frenzy" (guess I'm gonna have reanimate this to make room for Ronnie..who woulda thunk it????)

The very thing he wanted to stop- he added too

While we are at it- 67Stang heres some trivia for you I added this to one of the countless other Beck bashing threads i thought you might be interested in

4 game averages for 1st year starters
Derek Anderson 5 turnovers 6 sacks
John Beck 10 turnovers 10 sacks
David Garrad- 12 turnovers 28 sacks
Matt Schaub- 20 turnovers 16 sacks
Tarvaris Jackson- 16 turnovers 16 sacks

Maybe you can help me- How long has David Garrad, Matt Schaub and Tavaris Jackson been out of the NFL because I know they cannot be starting for any other NFL team

I hear you man, preaching to the choir. To be honest I am tired of the Beck threads too, but when I see an obviously biased post stating how bad Beck is and how good Henne has been, I can't help but bring some reality to the blind sighted.

Clearly the best way to get rid of Beck threads is to make another Beck thread as you just did.

Until one of the QB's has been released most of it won't die down and even after the fact if Beck (assuming he's the one that's released) has one good game so help us the threads will come boiling up to the nature we've never seen before.

Imagine if you will Beck gets released and goes 1-0 to start the season while Miami falls to 0-1 - It won't matter how it happens to unfold in the actual game there will be 20 "I told you so" threads popping up.

OK I am just going to "keep it real".

Other than this thread, there are only 3 out of the first 35 threads that are about John Beck. I think that when you factor in:

1. The unsettled situation at QB
2. The frustration that exists on passing Brady Quinn
3. The poor draft performance
4. It is still preseason and news is light

It is understandable that Beck can occupy less than 10% of our threads.

Additionally, this is a fan forum. We dont censor, limit, or dictate what people post about as long as it is topic appropriate and complies to our TOS. So lets relax...the Anti-Beck population is entitled their time and space just like anyone.

Na, If Beck does get traded, I will pull for him as an individual. However, if we lose to the Jets, I will be pissed regardless of what Beck does. Unlike some bashers on this sight, I don't feel the need to be right and try to rub it in peoples faces. Like I said before, I will gladly be wrong about everything I have ever posted on here, as long as we win. To me, it's not about being right, it's about winning....PERIOD!

I agree, give me no pro bowlers, no accolades and to hell with stats if we get wins, playoffs, someday the superbowl that's all that matters.

I'm not saying that I wouldn't appreciate the good players getting recognition - like you said: Give me wins anyday.

Some folks around here can't be satisfied and just like to bi**h

Well-put....man, I just wanna win. If we get the "W" then who cares who took the snaps.

Well said. Id also like to see of all the Beck threads started over the last few weeks, how many were pro Beck by the OP as opposed to anti-Beck.

And Im sure about 20% of all the original posts about Beck were ones suggesting to stop the Beck threads. Then their post goes on to have about 10 pages of replies. DOH!

The real bullets havent started flying yet and there isnt a whole lot to discuss. At least there is more to talk about now than those couple pre and post draft months. Once the games begin and Beck is gone, there will be very little discussion of him. Probably more in the depths than the main board.
