Manny Wright can't be getting paid this year can he?? I hope not. He sure as hell doesn't deserve to be making a freakin dime. As long as he doesn't want the help the Dolphins offered him then he needs to sit and lose a lot of $$$ until he learns to take responsibility for his own mental well being and act like a man.

good gracious man, where did this come from...you were ok just a minute ago...:goof:

I don't know what the rules are for the mentally disturbed cannot play list.

is this the guy that saban made cry?

the guy shouldnt even be on the team

To answer your question...yes Manny Wright is still getting paid. Until he is either released or his contract terminated, he will still be getting paid by the Miami Dolphins.

He is under contract and I imagine he is getting paid something but it shouldnt be your concern.I am relatively sure that his impact on the cap is minimal.

How the heck does that work? The guy left the team on his own accord for crying out loud!!! :tantrum: I wish I could leave my job on my own accord and still get paid for a year. What a joke!!

I thought I read somewhere that because of why he left the team and under the premise of how they put him on the unavailable to play list (Or whatever its called) They didnt have to pay him.

he needs to enjoy it while he can. He prob won't make this kind of money ever again. THat is if he quits football all together.

If you have a DOCTOR that says you have a MENTAL ILLNESS I'm sure you'd get time off of work.

You started a thread when all this hit the fan coming in with your "he's not a man because he's mentaly ill" garbage.

I have an idea, pick up your knuckles because I'm sure they hurt from all the dragging they do, come out of your cave and do some research...better yet, GET a mental illness. I've learned that the only way people with your train of thought can understand anything is to experience it.

Aftrer you do all that, come back to me and tell me if it has anything to do with being "a man".

Some people's attitudes are stunning.

That's not the point of it all!!! The Dolphins offered him help and even Manny's own family said the organization bent over backwards to help him and he did not accept it. So that makes him a fool. Plain and simple. Any guy is NOT a man when he can't accept help when he truly needs it. Until Manny pulls his head out of his you-know-what and accepts help (counseling and medication) he will NOT get better. And for your information I have worked around mentally ill people quite a bit and have seen people just like Manny. Many times. I can't respect a guy who doesn't want to get better.

No he isnt getting paid.. unless he's working fries at Popeyes
I hope he's not working at a fast food place either - he'd show up to camp next year (if he's still around) even MORE overweight.. he's already "super" obese. :refuse:

Maybe he likes screwing himself over? I know there's a word for that.
