did anybody notice that manny wright played seemingly well... he didnt exactly blow up but he played pretty well, he had a sack and a good play in the backfield to stop mcgahee. With a little bit more practice and work he could be a pretty solid starter next year at DT. Also who noticed how well the Defense played after allowin 3 early TD's. We really clamped down on the bills offense, specially the running game this was pretty surprising being as how Zach wasnt in there, i was expectin to get run over but not the case today

yea and I didn't even know he was active until I saw him get the sack... shocked me.

 me too, when i heard the announcer say his name i thought they had made a mistake, but yea he was activated because Keith was scratched off because of an ankle injury or somethin im not sure but kid played well

He also had a pass break up.

He has the physical side of things to be a force in the NFL but I think he is getting the mental side and toughness of it as he progresses through the season.

I started a thread about him after the game and many of us feel that he'll be a star for us.We got a steal in the 5th round with him and he should be in the middle of things for years to come.

Ozzy rules!!

Ive been waiting to see him play for a while, and it looks like he has some pretty good potential.

We got a few guys that will be big players for us in the future this year

Channing Crowder

Travis Daniels

Matt Roth

Manny Write

i have to be honest and say i had no clue who the hell #75 was.

i had no idea he was activated. then he comes in and makes two big plays. he still looks out of shape though. he has no definition in his arms

I'm even more excited about the fact that almost ALL of Saban's players are panning out this year. They've all done so well...I really trust Saban's personnel decisions.

What suprises me most is actually rookie punter Donnie Jones

He's really helped the defense with field position this year

Do you think Gus Frerotte starts next week? Is it fair to bench rosenfels after this game?

Saban really has turned this team around, a full 360

donnie played in seattle last year i believe. but yeah, he's been good

Your right its his second year out of LSU not first, my fault, it slipped my mind

Is Zach Thomas playing next week? I mean If I know Zach its a big game he wont miss it...but then again who knows

I wanna see more of Manny Write this year

Sam Madison might be gone in the offseason...so I hope Travis Daniels Develops quickly and can step up as the #1 or we will need to sign a CB in free agency

Lets Face it Will Pool and Travis Daniels doesnt sound all that great.....

lance Schulters might have been one of sabans best pick ups I think, hes made a few big plays this season on defense for us

i was glad to see him in playing well maybe it wasn't a waste of a pick to get him. i hope he gets better and better was nice to see him sack losman.

yeah I think we have the core of our defense set for the future

Crowder, roth, manny, and travis daniels should all be stars for years to come, people questioned us when we drafted defensive players, but it just shows saban knows what he wants

The one thing he said that sticks with me is

'We want to be physical, we want teams to hate playing the miami dolphins'

Crowder might be the hardest hitting Line backer taken in the draft, maybe even in the AFC
