It's not just that. The Cards have to not sign him as well. If you were Dansby, Why would you want to leave a SB caliber team?

the chances of the cards reaching the superbowl aren't that great. it was a great playoff run.
especially if warner retires... which I have heard he wants to play at least two more years, but say he goes and leinhart comes in... IMO.. the cards take three steps backwards.

Their division still sucks, so it's not hard for them to get another division championship which means a home playoff game.

Our schedule will be difficult, we the best QB in the NFL returning (to NE) compared to Seattle is garbage and needs alot of work, SF still hs no QB and needs alot of work and StLou needs alot of work. The Cards could own that division for the next 3/4 years.
We on the other hand will have to battle tooth and nail for the next 3/4 years while BB and Brady are still at NE.
So really if Dansby is looking at the chance of winning a Superbowl Arizona looks as attractive if not more then us. Money will talk the most when it comes to his decision between Arizona and us.

Pace is an example of why he should stay with the Cardinals. Pace left for money and a team that everyone thought was poised to make a SB run and fell on thier face. We have a harder schedule next year and signifigant question marks on each line as well as the secondary.

While that may be true, people thought that about Pace, and, they just got better. Fitzgerald has stated he's willing to restructure his contract to enable the Cards to keep Boldin anyway. Plus, they play in a horrible division, whereas the Dolphins play in a tough, competetive division.
Not to mention why would you leave the team that went to the SB and completely skull drug the team that you are going to?
