If there is anyone out there that thinks Steve Mcnair is our answer at quarterback is completely insane. If we need a quarterback for the future like coach Nick Saban said, then we shouldn't sign an old quarterback.

I'm sure we'll draft a quarterback and groom him right?:(

The whole point of getting McNair, to me, is TO groom a rookie. To have a competant quarterback starting for a change while we wait for the rookie to get ready.

It would immediately make our team signifigantly better. I don't think that's so insane.

Agreed, ask yourself who is better right now....McNair or Frerotte??? It's a no brainer. :sidelol:

Yea it would suck to get 2 or 3 quality years out of a really good veteren Qb while we develop a rookie. Might even be unlucky enough to win a Superbowl or something stupid like that. I mean why would we want to win? Stupid idea, lets bring back Gus or start a rookie and miss the playoffs again.

yeahhh that

mcNair isnt the long-term answer, but neither is Gus and mcNair is like a sky scraper over Frerotte's ability. Give me mcnair any day
