I have one site that I look at on Point spreads. Before the farve signing it was the NYJets by 3 1/2 points. After the farve signing it went to 4 1/2 points. Now after the Pennington signing it is down to the Jets by 3 points.

Vegas must be worried that Miami is going to know the Jets Offense better than Farve...

Point spreads are no indication of what Vegas thinks the game will be like. The point spreads are made to try to get an equal amount of people to bet on each team, thus they are trying to guess what the public thinks. Trying to analyze point spreads is not a good idea, in my opinion.

I love your avatar lol.

I'm curious as to what the over/under on Brett's interceptions against Miami will be--will it be five, or will we drop all five?

The over/under on Ints' for Farve would be 1 1/2. Farve does throw Ints' and I'm sure we will get our chances. But I'm not sure we have the DB's that can hang onto a farve fastball...

I think he's only thrown about three interceptions against us in four or five games though. Especially in the last couple of meetings he's beaten us pretty badly.

The first thing my firend (a jets fan) said to me was "Oh my god, the Dolphins Qbs gonna know our offense better then our Qb will."

3 is a bad number, except for game two last year it seems as though we lose every game by 3 points to the Jets.

You would think the spread would be alot more considering all the Farve worshiping going on along with how bad we are "suppose" to be.

I think we lost 6 or 7 games last year by 3. Does that mean we were just a play or two from pulling it out alot more victories or did other teams just play hard enough to beat us?

I think we cover week one...

Good teams find a way to win close games, bad teams find a way to lose them. I'd say we fell into the latter at 1-15 last year, because although we lost 6 games by 3 points and 8 games by 10 or less it's hard to say this team was close to being a 9 win team

A lot of our close loses really weren't that close. Garbage time points while the other team is in prevent dont mean much.

Yeah I have to agree with you on that. Maybe pennington can make a real difference this year and put us on the right side of those 3 point games...
