I found this article on the Jets Site:

One number that frosted Miamians last season was 16.3. That was the number of points the Dolphins averaged per game.

While there were a few teams that scored less frequently every season (last season those teams were Oakland, Tampa Bay and Cleveland), there aren't many Miami teams that have been less explosive.

We're going to turn some heads this season.
You don't stay in the NFL basement very long.

...but yes, last year was a mess.

Wow, that was actually a very positive article I think...Coming from a Jets website. Shows you how enamored the Jets media is with their team when they are writing articles soley about Miami

we couldnt score at all last year i think the most points we had was 31 agianst the bears

Yeah..Buffalo alone destroyed our PPG average. we scored the lowest point toals of the season in both games against them... 0 & 6 would kill Indianapolis's ppg average too

Not really, i'm not sure what their average was but i'm gonna guess around 30. If they were shut out in two games it would still only bring their average down to maybe 26. Face it 16 points a game is pretty anemic.

Im not disgreeing. Im just saying buffalo handed us our ***** last season...I hope they enjoyed it while it lasted though because its time for the change of the seasons

That actually wasn't a half bad analysis- for a Jets fan. I'm guessing our points per game will be close to a touchdown per game better this year.

We should average at least 20 a game. Or course 40 in one game and a shutout in the next doesn't work. We must score 20 points a game. With our D that should give us more wins then losses. Any game we score 24 in should be a win. Hopefully 10 - 12 games this year where we score 24 and get wins.

Miami's offense actually scored less than 15 points a game. The team's point totals were inflated a bit by three defensive touchdowns.

From all my research on Cameron and Turner offenses, I have every reason to believe right now that Miami will score about 20 points per game this year on offense. From there if Ted Ginn is able to reproduce some of his return prowess in the pros, we could have some decent point totals this year.
