Ed Bouchette, of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, reports Pittsburgh Steelers SS Troy Polamalu (knee) said he hopes to be able to play by Week 17, if not sooner.

Scott Brown, of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, reports Pittsburgh Steelers SS Troy Polamalu (knee) is not participating in practice Wednesday, Dec. 23, and likely will not play in Week 16. Polamalu did say the results of the MRI done on his knee were encouraging.

Polamalu's presence is huge. Even if not 100%, he will make Henne's job a ton harder. Gotta hope he does not return.
On another note, who else feels that Galloway will torch us for 50+, at least once? No matter what defense or DC whe have, we always seem to make washed up or troubled players look great.
