I think this guy is one of the MOST over-rated players in the league. He is a solid safety but did you see him bounce off Brown at least 2 times tonight. I would take Ed Reed over him any day of the week!!

I also saw him in almost every play.

over-rated?!?! are you kidding me? i've never seen a player be all over the field like he is. he will probably be the DPOY. overrated? overrated? (in jim mora playoffs voice)

Ed Reed is way better than he is....He is a good safety but he isn't one of the best. When Reed won DPOY, he deserved it. Polamalu doesn't deserve it. Lets see him make some picks and game changing plays.

like the game changing pick he made in this game?

or maybe the game changing pick he made in the indy playoff game?

please...the game changing pick in this game was made by Porter. If you have any argument look at his stats last season.....2 ints and 90 tackles??? Seriously, Reed had 9 ints...that is a game changer

they are both great safeties... look i'm a canes fan; no way i'm denying the greatness of ed reed. but polamalu is also a great player.

Stats dont mean anything. If need be I could show you stats that would prove Wanny was a great coach.

Whether your right or not, is it wise to be calling a star player on the team who just beat us that had a nice INT overrated?? Seems like bad timing to be critical.

I am not saying he is a bad safety but he gets way more props than he deserves. The year Reed won DPOY, he was a game changer...Polamalu, in my opinion isn't a game changer...he is a good safety. He makes plays I agree but 2 picks? and 90 tackles for a saety? that is not great stats! That, in my opinion, tells me he is over rated

well let's see if he improves in his third year (second full year of actually being given freedom to roam)

and ed reed didn't win DMVP until his third year

:sidelol:

Please do Sarah...show me stats that make Wanny great. The fact remains that Polamalu is good not great. It is n ot sour grapes because the steelers just beat the fins, this is a problem I had last year. The media tends to become enamored with certain players and run with them regardless of how good they truly are....

and the more i think about it, there isn't another safety i'd rather have besides reed than polamalu.

You are seriously crazy.

Polamalu makes plays and he's all over the field.
He is a rare combination of superb instincts and physical skills.
There is absolutely nothing about him that is "over-rated".
