Polian's Out in Indy

Both father and son...

The details of this should be interesting.

Maybe there's some dissension concerning what to do with that first pick?...

I assume in the clean house tweet that Caldwell is gone too...He sucked anyway...

per Mort...breaking news...wow.

I think the nepotism with his son and his thin skin in handling criticism about him created his undoing. However, I'd love to either replace Ireland with him or hire him above Ireland if Peterson isn't more than a peripheral influence.

This means that anything said about Manning's future in Indy so far is moot and what happens with Manning now is anyone's guess.

i guess you can only hang on peyton mannings coattails for so long before you get figured out...but i'm surprised by this...i thought caldwell would be the fall guy for this season...still may

Why would anybody want him here...? Am I missing something?

Wow...

He had a great track record up there...

I respectfully have to disagree. He was GM for 12 years and he has barely pumped out any Pro Bowl Caliber players. There is a list of Wayne, Harrison (HOF), Clark, Freeney, Mathis, Sanders, and obviously Manning. Based on this year you could argue that Manning had as much to do with Wayne, Harrison and Clark. Leaving 3 pro bowl caliber players that were solely due to Polian's judgement. I would hate to get this guy. OVERRATED.
