Who would you like to see holding the clipboard for Daunte Culpepper? Possibly starting week 1 as well.

Griese, I think he's the best at adjusting to systems given he's had success for more than 1 team, though I think Maddox may be who we end up getting.

Griese. He played well coming off the bench for Tampa and I think he'll do the same here with a better OL and more targets.

I would personally like to see Aaron Brooks as our Backup, i have always liked him for some reason......I just have'nt figured out what that reason is:lol:

Griese.....he has a lot of experience...it would be nice seeing him coming back to Miami and be given a decent shot.....even if it is just as a backup. Griese probably wants a shot at starting....I think he will end up in Chicago.

like I said in the other backup QB thread...Saban won't break the bank for a backup QB IMO...

who I want: Harrington/Griese/Brooks

who we will realistically get: Maddox/McMahon

and Collins is somewhere in between... I'd be willing to take any of these guys over Maddox...

we definitely should go for Griese. We need someone who has shown the ability to play well as a starter. Ok, so some of the other guys have done that but they're not the son of one our most famous players.

I voted Maddox only because of his past relationship with Mularkey, but I could live with the others. On a side note, I was at the Saints game this past year and their fans around me were willing to trade Brooks for Ferrotte straight up. I don't know; is that a poor reflection on Brooks or the Saint fans?

I like collins, he is a starter quality player and has a real nice arm to make the vertical/big plays we use alot. Collins is solid and in the right system will have some success. Good stop gap qb if daunte can't be back by the opener.

we have already had griese once and i hated him lets get maddox he is a veteran and he's cheap

Greise has gone to the Bears. We're not looking for a full-time starter but do need a veteran that can jump in and be productive, and cheap, so Maddox seems to fit that bill.

My boy Harrington.

I'd like him as well, but I have a feeling the Chiefs are going to push hard to get him...Trent Green is getting up there in age, may not last the whole season with nagging injuries...

I like to see Maddox, I say Maddox because he knows the system that mularkey ran in pittsburgh it would be nice to see both systems in our offense lets balance both offenses in the pre-season if it works then lets do it in the season if not then foiget it.

Harrington was my #1 pick to start @ QB this year and for subsequent years....I do think KC will get him, for the same reasons. If we can't get him, Mike McMahon would probably be my #2 just because he's athletic and wouldn't be real pricey. At least MIA got Culpepper, they're set for a while.
