Wondering where Culpepper stands in the popularity poll after two dismal performances in a row.

Even if people feel he should be replaced it's not going to happen.

Culpepper would have to stink it up really bad all the way to midseason before they'd even consider it IMO.

Geez, you just had to add Lemon in there didn't you.
Here we go......

daunte is our quarterback get used to it, unless he is injured, their are bigger problems to fix than the qb

Yeah, because the difference between Pep & Harrington is truly drastic.

People on here don't have a clue about the situation. I mean, just take a trip to Detroit & ask around - by putting Harrington behind that awful OL with Mularkey calling the plays & McMichael dropping balls every game, some of you really have no idea what we'd be getting ourselves into. Picture getting blown out by the damn Titans & Texans. Yeah, that's what Harrington gets you into most of the time.

Let's give Daunte a chance to actually gain some comfort. How about that? :rolleyes2

I"m not in favor of benching him but I"m also not in favor of ignoring obvious problems either.

Culpepper is a big problem right now along with others.
It's obvious he is struggling and it is troubling.

The problem is I have gotten used to QBs making bonehead plays that cost the Dolphins wins the past few years. I would like something different.:D

Did you not watch the game today ? Do you want to wait until we are 0-8 with Culpepper giving all the games away to then bench him ?

Whoa there nelly.....

Why you directing this to me.
I did'nt support either side with my post.
I was simply pointing out that this debate isn't even worth having right now because starting Harrington isn't going to happen.

A coach dosen't give up on his main QB this early into a season, especially one that was clearly the guy to start coming into the season.

We need to stick with Daunte. The sky might not be falling but im starting to see some cracks in it.

Harrington

I believe Harrington looked a hell of a lot better then Culpepper did during preseason. Culpepper looks like he is uncomfortable. I said it when the dolphins acquired him, Daunte really isn't that great. What made him a good quarterback was Carter and Moss. That's it! The dolphins right now should be ashamed on their offensive performance. During preseason it should of been a battle for the starting position. Daunte should not have automatically got the start. Especially how he performed. The big question is, do the dolphins continue starting him? The Vikings right now know they made the right decision in trading him. I say start him one last time and give him a chance to redeem himself, if he doesn't perform, start Harrington. Or this will be a heartbreaking season for a team with such high hopes and lots of talent.:fire:

What he needs (being Daunte) is big dose of confidence. Culpepper comes out against the Titans and throws a couple of TD's, I believe he will start to roll. But if this starts to snowball, well, just say get the arm loose Joey.
