I see someone desperate for a bigtime DE coming to us with a 2nd and 4th(as stated in a previous thread) but im not seeing anyone giving us a 1st. not saying it wont happen, just that i dont think its likely

I think if there's no real good offers he stays and we still could deal him before the trade deadline if someone gets hurt and the team gets desparate which drives up the price.

I'd trade him for a toothpick, get the dancin dolphin outahere pronto avanti.

No point him being here no more, we get a 3rd and we move on.

Taylor is going to be traded this weekend and someone will bite. Some team out there will give up the pick we want. Just have some patience. We are fishing right now, and we just threw our line in water, it takes a little time before you get the fish to bite. They dont strike immediately. Patience people, patience.

Does JT get traded??

Absolutely!! I believe he will and we will be able to add another #2 to our selectios. I said it before and am not backing down. This team will be entirely different than whay we have seen and it will start with field position and defense. There is no doubt we need Taylor but the bigger picture is more important. BP and company will get the most out of all starters so the younger, stronger, bigger and faster we get all the better...

Yes he will, for a 2nd and MAYBE a 4th/5th.

And I love JT, but it will be a great day for the Miami Dolphins. We will FINALLY have a regime that recognizes the need to rebuild the right way.

both Mike Smith and Adam Scheffter believe a deal will get done. When Adam says something, it will usually happen.

The Bucs are interested in Taylor...so he could bring the Dolphins a second round pick.

Jacksonville is the logical destination. Could the Jags use a guy like Taylor chasing down Peyton (and Vince) or what? Then they could sick him on Brady in the playoffs. We'll take their first but may have to throw them next year's 5 to lower the price a bit.

I could also see him joining Chambers in San Diego, especially if Merriman is in steroid trouble again. OK, we'll just take that #1. Warm climate and oh so much closer to Hollywood!

I think if JT was going to be traded he would have been traded tonight.

I hope they don't trade him,he still has 2 years left on his contract and I would like to see him retire as a Fin.That being said,I don't think the Dolphins are going to get what they want for Taylor...after all,he is 34 and that is a bit long in the tooth for a DE.I really don't see this trdae happening.Didn't Bill Parcells already say that the only way Taylor won't be a Fin in 2008 is if he retires?
