now that the dust has settled after a few days for the haters and they have been able to read up on who we actually drafted and watch the video highlights of these guys, what is our draft grade? I say B

And I say F.

Ginn is hurt and won't be able to get on the field until at least Training camp...perhaps after...that leaves him a huge question mark...he certainly won't be able to learn how to run the plays that the Dolphins will use.

Beck...he'll be a 26 year old rookie...and unless the Dolphins put him in the fire right away...he has no value until he proves he can or can not be the QB...that the Dolphins hope can take over.

Satele has the best chance to play right away...and playing at center he will be a full time player.

Booker at best will be a 3rd down back...he won't replace Brown or perhaps Ricky...if the Dolphins don't trade Ricky away...so at best he helps on special teams and once in awhile is used as a back.

B-......I would have liked a Safety, in the4th, or 6th. Suprised about Hawaii RB. I think we can use him as FB, but still better talent out there in my opinion. I love LoBook, but we did not address our secondary at all.

i say a b+ we did need help in the secondary, but at some point the haters have to figure out that the sun doesnt shine out of brady quins butt. Its getting rediculous if you listen to the haters brady quin has all ready destroyed one franchinse (the dolphins)., and completely resurected another (the browns) all this before the man has ever taken an nfl snap. Wow tim couch part 2 must be more effective than i thought:sidelol:

I have to agree. I am tired of all this crap. Quinn was over rated from the get go. Beck will show who was the better QB soon. I am proud to pick Beck in the second round over Quinn. I am proud of our new Coach for selecting Beck over Quinn and like all of our draft choices. I like Ginn's playmaking ability as well. Only knack on Ginn to me is that he is a bit small.

i thought the draft was very strong, and as time passes, i'm more and more excited about it. Ginn is exciting, Beck impresses me with his enthusiasm, maturity and arm, Satele seems like he's got a needed mean streak and our backup fullback runs through walls!

In the later rounds, I was a little surprised at some of the picks (no LT, no TE), but will trust that the players picked have enough upside to warrant the pick. There's always the UDFA's. Overall, I give our draft a A-/B+. Yes, I tend to optimism.

Carey is moving to left tackle, isn't he? and yeah, we need a tight end.

Something no one has talked about is Ted Ginn's great work ethic. In 3 years, Ted Ginn Jr. will look like Marvin Harrison + world class speed and John Beck will look like Drew Brees. I can live with that!

F- No one knows how the players will turn out so we should take a chance on a QB instead of useing the 9th pick on a hurt player. Who checked out Ginn anyway? The same staff that said Brees was damaged and C-pep was good to go? The "we all should trust the coach" theory is old. We said the same thing about Shula/Johnson/Wanny/Saban, and look how bad they drafted. Houston passed on a QB and how did that turn out? If Beck is not throwing TD passes to Ginn by mid-season, fire the whole staff.

by mid season? and if we got Quinn would it be the same thing?

and we did get a QB, why use the 9th pick on one, when we got a QB we thought was better in the 2nd round? talk about reaching if we took Quinn at 9, thank god they didn't do that...

C. Ginn is unproven and has many questions to answer. He has to prove he was worth the pick or a waste. I can't go higher than a C until I know that.
