I see less chewing out players on gameday and during Training Camp players were saying they didnt run as much last year. And every press conference after we lose, its always "we did a lot of things well" NO YOU DIDNT IF WE DID THINGS WELL WE WOULD BE WINNING GAMES! He is reminding me of Wanstedt and his "we'll get them next time" approach.IDK about you guys but I want a hard discplinarian coach like Bill Parcells who isnt afraid to call out his players. Last year I though Nick Saban was that kind of coach but not anymore.

I'm with ya on this. I don't know what happened to him in the offseason, but I've had enough of his *****, college approach. Last year he chewed out everyone and anyone who deserved it, and this year he's all "oh, it's fixable- I refuse to criticize my players" bull****. Toughen the **** up Nick. What a disappointment.
 
just a natural reaction after the play. if he was blowing a gasket after every game they would be having last rites for him now because he wouldve had a heart attack by now. After so many boneheaded plays by his players you go into an acceptance mode of "My God they suck" and therefore your expectations are diminshed to what you have to work with

As long long as WE KEEP DOING THE SAME THINGS OVER AND OVER, we gonna keep getting the same results!!!!!

Saban is kind of weird, his pressers are really out there sometimes.
 
I don't think it matters one way or the other..
Being strict is one thing, but these players are adults.
You can't yell at them like college kids or they are just gonna
tune you out...
 
Saban's pro coaching career hasn't impressed me. Yeah sure 6 games last year, big ****ing deal. We are currently in this year and what has he done? I realize he is not on the field playing but it seems he isn't taking control of these bad situations. It really seems we have a divided team. Our spirit is gone and we have no heart.
 
I was at the game today, it was 110 in the shade, perfect doplphin condtions and favre had all day to throw the ball after they were double teeming taylor, soft isnt the word, Lack of discipline, stop them on 3rd down and then get 15 yarder for one of the d backs talking trash, they go on to score. I have never been as disquested as I was today.
