I know that this is the umpteenth Head coach poll, but I'd like to know who you would like if the Dolphins hired one of the "retreads" being mentioned.

Retread definition - fired from his last job.
No one who retired/resigned etc.
Sorry Cowher and Mularkey fans.

IF we hired a retread, which I dont' want to do, I would like Parcells. Proven winner, has turned around four NFL teams, (Giants, Patriots, Jets, and Cowboys) and he could groom/teach someone to take his place.

Win Or Lose At Least It Will Have Some Offence

Martz?

I think he is one of the few offensive minds who can coach up the team and get great performances out of mediocre players, and former Arena league allstars Mike Furrey and Kurt Warner.

But I hate him with a passion. He is an *** who lost games by refusing to run when he had Marshall Faulk and Steven Jackson. It got him fired.

i think cam cameron or ron rivera, but i would prefer cameron because he's an offensive coach! :cooldude:

I voted none, but if I had to pick one, I'd say Mora.

Capers!!! Lets not forgot that Martz single-handley ruined the Rams Super bowl team.
The only others I would even consider is Reeves, which is unrealstic, Mooch or Haslett

Yeah and Amen!

Perfect description, exactly how I feel.

i agree..he surely does know how to draft

I picked none, because i mean it! BUT-If we have to go retread Id go after Cowher with all we have. But I really hate the idea of having a retread, really really hate it. I only say Cowher because hes not strictly a retread per se' but a guy who is stepping down for personal reasons. If we can convince him to come back and if he trully wants to coach us for more reasons than $$ hes the only non current NFL coordinator id think we could improve with in the long run.

If we actually have to go with a pure retread as defined in the initial post, umm, Capers i guess. Wow that was unenthusiatic. At least you didnt put in Mularkey!!

As for Martz, hes an offensive genious, but not a HC at all. Guy got worse every year after inheriting Dick Vermeils team. He clashed with players and media constantly, hes a total egomaniac, and a head case. Ugh, no.

Cowher didnt retire, simply resigned. He might or might not take a year off. If I was Wayne, I would go offer him the highest paid contract for a coach in the NFL, and GET HIM.

I voted none, but if I had to pick one, I'd say Mora.

My brother from another mother.

I voted Mora because I agree with his father that Vick is a coach killer, and he will have success in his next job. Though I think he needs a couple of years as a coordinator to reflect.

Love your Sig.

And I like what Schottenheimer has done in NY with noodle arm, running back by committee, one decent WR, and no TE.
