Now I know we are all very excited about this upcomming season and we have seen a lot of predictions lately now that rosters are coming into form. I would like to get a feeling as to what most Dolphin fans think of this 2006 team as it is right now.

I think we have the guns to get there and believe we will get to the AFC championship at least.

I'm going to be conservative and say the divisional round. Of course, I'll be more than happy if the Fins make it to the Super Bowl, but I won't expect that until next year.

I'm guessing divisional round to be conservative. I think with so many things still up in the air it is hard to say much further. Daunte's knee is a big question. I think he helps a lot, but when will he start playing? I know the running game will do well with some help on the line and anotehr year under houck this year, as well as Beasley. I think we still have thin spots on D like LB especially if we go 3-4 defense. Secondary? How will Will Poole bounce back? I think Saban can get Allen contributing right away though if anyone can. So I'm sayinh Div round (at least) to be conbservative. Some of these question marks will break our way, some may not. Some great surprises should also emerge like last year's rookies did (Crowder and the DB Saban picked - forgot name - very tired).
What about Manny Wright? He should keep improving too.

If Daunte can come in healthy and stay healthy I think we have a great shot at making a push to the superbowl. But we need everyone to stay healthy and perform the way the should in order for us to really have a shot at going far into the playoffs.

Well said. I couldn't agree more.

superbowl baby isnt that what all fans should say lol i think we very well can if we stay healthy and our qb situation is settled i say we end it in miami :)

First target should be to wrestle the AFC East back from the Pats. They've had their turn. Now its ours. After that, who knows?

Theres a difference between what we all want and what we predict

I predict we have a tremendous season and fall just short of making it into our home stadium for the super bowl. Barring injuries ofcoarse.

i really think we made some strong offseason moves to move closer to our super bowl hopes so i think its deff a possibility if we rise to the occasion and if everyones healthy, most importantly daunte, but to be honest ill be just as happy to make the playoffs it would really get us on the right foot for our organization but i atleast expect us to make it to the divisional game and depending on who we are playing and where we will have a good shot at going to the afc championship and from there its how hard we play and how bad we want it, i really feel though that this is our year and hey look at the steelers they barely made it to the playoffs and they came out on top so once we make it to the playoffs anything can happen

Wildcard this year with "maybe" a win, AFC championship next year.

The Dolphins will be one of the most balanced teams in the AFC. They actually have more firepower than the Pats and a better secondary. Assuming Nick can put it all together, they are the team to beat in the AFC East.

This team now is already better than the Carolina Panthers team that lost to the Pats 3 yrs ago. Dramatic turnarounds are very possible and the Phins have a nice combination of veteran leadership and young players.

We have as good of chance as anybody to go to the superbowl. Every team has question marks, but every team doesn't have the quality coaching that the Miami Dolphins have. As long as we stay healthy we have a great chance at making a run this year.
