I'm not sure if we'll make the playoffs or not, but i will NEVER give up on my team. We could go into the last week of the season 0-15, and i wouldn't give up.

Remind me who was in their division?!.... ya the giants and skins.... o and not too mention the cowboys... we not in that division or that conference...

I say we just tank the season go for the #1 pick... williams RIGHT!?!?!? i say go for it...
 
Superbowl Champs were 0-2 last season and so were the Eagles.THose two teams looked just as bad if not worst than the Dolphins because at least our Defense looked strong.

OK I need to get something off my chest here. Is looking at this situation as realistic as possible giving up on your team? Is asking for change in the coaching staff that have obviously blown their jobs, giving up on the team? Is commenting on a player that sucks and demanding a replacement giving up on your team? Is realising that finally it might be time to rebuild our team and follow the models of other Superbowl winning teams, giving up on your team? Enough of the giving up horse crap, just because some fans on here are fan enough to know, and say,that to right this ship we will have to sit through a losing season. Some of us are willing to watch a rebuilding team and enjoy watching our draft picks get better. Some of us don't want to waste another year of this defense by letting Wanny coach this team. Will any of you who think we will be 11-5 this year, how many of you will be on here when we are 3-13? We'll see won't we.
 
I'll be here but 0-2 is tough start. This season will be a roller coaster!! i wont be getting off!! go fins!
 
It's not so much giving up on the team, as it is accpeting that this now a rebuilding process, and knowing that chances are, we won't win much this year. I think "giving up" is the wrong term, because you still cheer and hope for the best and watch every down, but taking the situation for what it is.

The organisation has to realise this too, otherwise it's time wasted.

I guess it depends on what it means to "give up" on the season. It's pretty clear we are not playoff bound. But there is still a lot to look forward to. Beating any of our division opponents, for example. If you examine this team closely, we really have only one serious problem. That is the o-line. If we had even an average line, we would be looking at an 11-5 season at least. The o-line is what it is. It will not be appreciabley better ever. We just don't have the talent. Hopefully it will be addressed along with a new HC in the offseason.

You have one serious problem (Oline) and two serious questions (how good are J Feely and Lamar Gordon). Both have never been featured players .
 
If Miami gets rid of Wanny there is still hope for a respectable record and who knows maybe a shot at the plaoffs.So far from what I have seen there is no Clear cut favorite.

This team has some talent and with this defense there is no excuse for this team to look this bad.You cant count anyone out.

Now if Wanny stays its f-ing over.......GROW SOME BALLS WAYNE AND FIRE HIS ***...The writing is on the Wall Wayne this team could very well end up like the Bears in Wannys last season and then there was no reason for it.
 
I wouldn't know how to give up on the season. I still believe they can make the playoffs although it is less likely than it was two weeks ago. It all comes down to improvement on the o-line. I expect improvement when Mcintosh gets in there and I expect the other young guys to continue to improve and gel. That doesn't make it a rebuilding year. This D is good enough that Miami should be in every game. The skill positions a very talented, possibly as talented as any team in the league. Even marginal improvement on the line could yield big results. If it happens soon enough then this team can win enough to get in.

OK say they make the playoffs, do any of you honestly see them winning a game???? I'm a huge Dolphins fan but last year I knew if we had made the playoffs we weren't going anywhere, and that team was BETTER than this years squad.
 
I am a fan of the Miami Dolphins - win or lose!

I will never give up hope!
