1. RB is a bust and should have taken Carnell.

2. RB missed too much TC and will take time to develop.

3. The O-line is not producing any holes for RB.

4. Combination of 2 and 3.

I am kind of surprised at the diffence in opinions about RB. So lets hear where we all stand.
IMO Ronnie is more of a complete back. And after watching the bucs game too, I don't see the Bucs asking Carnell to help with blocking, picking up the blitz or catch anything out of the backfield.

i think its abit of both 2 and 3, once he stops danceing around and hits the holes he'll be much better... i guess that comes with experience ...

I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. I think he needs to be more decisive when he is running. He is thinking too much and not attacking. Of course, our line has something to do with it. But Ronnie's running style is to pound it. That's what he needs to do. He just isn't agile enough to make moves in the backfield. Fast? Yes. Quick and agile? No. He has to play to his strengths. I think Ronnie will be ok. He has to have some time. BUT, I am looking forward to having Ricky back. RW is just in a class by himself, IMO.

i think the same...he definitely hesitates wayy too much before hitting the hole from what i've seen so far

stop the nonsense! Brown was a great pick and he is producing. Look at some of the intangibles - 1)he's done a pretty good job of picking up blitzes and protecting Gus 2) he holds on to the ball 3) and he doesn't complain. Wait till the offensive line opens up better holes and he gets his confidence up.

Not everyone is stating non-sense. Some of it is facts. Ronnie has areas where he has to improve. There is no way around it.

Not complaining isn't an intangible and it doesn't make him successful as a running back. It is nice not to have a headache on the team, but I'd rather him ***** than hesitate behind the line.

It's not #3, look at Morris's numbers. It all Ronnie.
