Poll: Letting time expire on the first pick?

Would letting time expire be a good idea?

Just a thought...the idea has come up b4 but i hvnt really seen a poll on it.....but i wanted to see what people think....It seems like we'd be happy piking wither one of the Longs, or V.G. (ohio) so that puts us in the top 3 at worst...Do think it mite be better to let time expire....and pay less....personally i don't think it'll happen but it doesn't seem like the worst idea...even thought he draft isnt the "best" draft so to speak cuz o the lack of QBs and receivers...its still deep with o line, d line, and corners so there is a lot of potential to be had

horrid idea. would be shooting ourselves in the foot. just because this board can't decide who we want, that doesn't mean parcells hasn't targeted his guy.

It's not that, it's just that this subject has been brought up way too many times and people are getting sick and tired of hearing and reading about it. I'm not bustin your balls or anything, but most of us have seen this thread numerous times already. We need a break! :up:

The franchise cannot continue to look stupid.
Letting the time pass by would be a defeatist outlook.

This is a stupid idea. It was a stupid idea when it came up last week, it was a stupid idea a today. And, a few days from now, when this comes up again, it will still be stupid idea.


I would explain why (again) but you can use the search function above. :rolleyes: Just click search and type "Passing on the #1 pick" OR "Stupid Ideas".
 
Absolutely not. There is no value. Whoever we would select would still ask for #1 money. We have the first pick in the draft, where you actually make that selection would not matter.
