Simple thread.. seems like there is a pretty solid line between long fans and long fans... i just wanna see if its up to the finheaven democracy, who wins the election? I vote Jake Long :woot:.. how bout you.. y?
 
It will probably be Jake

I really have no preference i like both of them A LOT.

But if i had to vote it would be Jake.

Honestly, as long as the first draft pick's last name is Long or Gholston I will be fine. I just don't want to hear McFadden or Ryan.

I actually had a nightmare about us taking Matt Ryan (Leaf).

Chris Long, just because I think the Jake Long negotiations are smoke screens. We'll see though. I really don't mind either.
 
At first I wanted Chris Long but thinking about Jake long makes more sense.

1) DE> linebacker for chris Long can be very risky
2) I want beck to have time
3) Vernon Carey is solid at Right Tackle/ With Jake Long as a Solid Left tackle beck will have time.
4) did u guys see how beck rip apart the bengals Defense when he had time.
5) Outside pass rushers are easier to get then LT.

same here i wanted C.long, maybe because of all the hype... but now i def want what ive wanted for years... a solid LT
 
Jake by far....we have no RT, and at #32, who are u gonna find to play RT??? We already have a stack of DE's on our roster, young ones too....a guy like Jake Long, i dont think u can pass on him. u can always make a go for George Selvie next year, probably just as good if not better!
 
lest not forget, our head coach, was an offensive line coach for the past however many years........so im sure he can pinpoint a good OL prospect....if he chooses Jake, u know hes worth it....if he doesnt choose Jake, then there must be something wrong with Jake. but i trust Sparano, he knows OL
 
Chris Long my mind has never changed, Jake would be a good pick as well but Chris is better IMO.
