Okay so now that we need a new HC I want to know if you would like to see us a Defensive (i.e. Saban) of Offensive (i.e. Dungy) type of coach hired next? I say offensive. If we need to revive C-Pep we'll need a great offense minded coach to be able to coach him back to form. Plus I really want to see a good offense next year REALLY REALLY BAD! Man I miss Marino. I wouldn't mind having Cam Cameron.

A. Offensive
B. Defensive
C. Don't Care, either way is OK

*If you feel this is a bad thread please EXIT now.

I really dont care i think that we just need focuse on primary holes on hope for a playoff berth

Our offense has been horrible for the last 8 years, it's time for an offensive minded coach.......

If we hire an offensive minded HC, we better have one heck of a defensive coordinator and vice versa.

Dungy is a defensive coach.

But as far as the question goes: I'd rather have a defensive coach. But Maybe this team needs a change. So offensive would be fine.

I'm not sure i really care but id rather have an offensive minded coach the defense isn't bad but the offense is horrible

I want someone whose going to use Ronnie Brown the right way. I think Camerons that guy.

some who had to purge and rebuilt so needs to have long term goals. As i mentioned before with a cap room of less then 20 million and vacancy of 22 starters their is no money to hire 22 veterans with any bonus money this year.

so alot of cuts taking the cap hit for 07-08 and start drafting the next 3 yrs to competing by 09.some one young with a long term contract.

not sure any experienced coach will want to take 3 yrs off from competing.

I don't think it matters if the head coach is offensive or defensive minded. It's more about who he hires as the OC/DC and if he'll let them be aggressive in their playcalling.

I really don't think it makes as much of a difference as most people believe as long as you have good coordinators.

If you could assure me that someone like Capers would stick around (an iffy proposition at this point), I'd have no problems with an offensive minded coach, as long as he possessed the qualities that make a head coach successful.

If Capers were to leave, then I'd want the best guy for the job, no matter what side of the ball his expertise was on.

Defensive.....Because if you pair a guy like Ron Rivera with some of the talent on this defense, you're going to have one of the BEST units that this franchise has ever seen, and thats saying a lot after last years very solid performance.
