Matt Flynn, 2 Pro games. record breaking performance

Or Alex Smith, great season last year, and experience.

Both are WCO guys.
 
I'm all in with Flynn but let Philbin look at Smith too.
 
Finally we get to be the spoiler, haha. Really though, it's definately worth a look, but does anyone think Alex is just trying to drive up his price, or is he really looking to leave San Fran?
 
Simply put: I want Brandon Weeden drafted and starting.
 
Both and draft a Qb in later rounds to develop. With Smith we get experience and a guy whose career turned around when he got a coach (Harbaugh) to tutor him. He can lead this team now. Flynn knows the system will drive up the competition between the two. Both are good solid QB's. Trade or drop Moore since his skill set does not match the system they plan to implement.
 
[x] Moore and draft Weeden or Tanny: neither of these guys seem like much of an upgrade
 
Choosing from these two is like choosing whether to be punched in the stomach or kicked in the nuts.

I picked Smith, only because he has more starting experience. And because he will be a greater challenge to Matt Moore.

C'mon, you gotta admit Flynn has a pretty nice upside. Smith, I agree, wouldn't be better -or worse- than Henne/Moore.
 
Thats why we have a coach let him decide,its his future on the line also.
 
Flynn. Just to finally see if he is the Godsend alot of people claim he is. But I would truly love to see how good Matt Moore could be with a full training camp as the starting QB.
 
Actually if you look at the last 3 years....Alex Smith has a very good touchdown to interception ratio. I would not be opposed if he is our best option.

I agree, but in today's NFL you have to have two very good QB's to make it through the season.
