POLL: What Position do you want addressed in the first round?

Given everything that has happened in FA and assuming the Dolphins don't trade out, which hole/need do you want to see the Dolphins fill with their first-round pick?

I am guessing Kendricks. However, Mike Tannenbaum is a big game hunter. I would not be shocked if it was Gurley or Gordon.

I think the best receivers are going to be off the board. OG is a big need and there could be some nice dominating fits, but I am not sure they go there.

Kevin Johnson needs to be looked at as he will have a long productive career in the NFL.

T2 is in control that's for sure

He would have moved back last year and got his RT and another pick in the 2nd or 3rd...

I say WR -> Parker

Order of preference based on availability:
1. Trae Waynes
2. Parker or Cooper
3. Kendrick

My preference..

1) WR Kevin White
2) WR Amari Cooper
3) WR Devante Parker
4) CB Trae Waynes
5) OT/OG Brandon Scherff
6) Trade Down

at first i was all for a WR but it wont make sense, we net a veteran at the Wr position, unless we trust landry to be the leader at the WR position...if not i think CB peters or waynes would be smart for the long run. Grimes doesn't have tooo much left in his tank even tho he is playing awesome, age is and will be creeping very soon maybe even this season so we need some CB

My preference..

1) WR Kevin White
2) WR Amari Cooper
3) WR Devante Parker
4) CB Trae Waynes
5) OT/OG Brandon Scherff

Good list but doubt we draft a offensive lineman. We need WR, LB, or CB

I'm not convinced that LB is such a pressing need, that it warrants a 1st rd draft pick.

When I look at our current starters, I see question marks in..

OT Branden Albert (big question mark, coming off torn ACL & torn MCL)
OG Dallas Thomas
OG Billy Turner
WR Rishard Matthews
ILB Koa Misi
CB Jamar Taylor
SS Don Jones

ILB Koa Misi isn't great, but he's probably the most solid guy from that above list.

What I like about Brandon Scherff is that he can play either OT or OG (if Branden Albert is back 100%).

OLB Chris McCain is a question mark, but I don't see that spot as warranting a 1st rd draft pick, because it's essentially a part-time position. In the modern NFL, with all the 3 & 4 WR sets, we often go nickel (and only Jelani Jenkins & Koa Misi remain on the field). So sometimes the slot corner (Brice McCain) will be the 11th defender, and sometimes the 3rd LB will the the 11th defender.

Right now there are so many holes with needs at wide receiver, safety, offensive guard, and middle linebacker.

But, the two players that intrigue me the most in this draft are at positions that I'd call secondary needs for Miami. I absolutely love Todd Gurley, but I don't expect the team to go running back that early. The other player for me is Alvin Dupree, who I think would play OLB for the Dolphins. You can never have enough pass rushers and Cam Wake is getting up in years.

I think the team can find talent at wide receiver and offensive line in rounds 2-4. Safety and middle linebacker look like tough positions to fill in this draft. I love Erik Kendricks from UCLA in a trade down scenario from #14.

I want us to get a receiver UNLESS trae Waynes is there at #14. I want a play making DB and us too grab a WR in the 2nd
