Without knowing if the report of Ricky "failing" a NFL drug test is accurate. Or whether its inaccurate and premature. Does your opinion of what the Dolphins should do with Ricky change?

Presuming its a false report and no penalty or missed time occurs for the upcoming 2006 season, what would you do regarding Ricky Williams?

1) I wanted to Trade Ricky before this report for a player or picks and the risk of this being true keeps my opinion the same even if its false...Trade him!

2) I didnt want to Trade Ricky before this report, I feel he would help Miami more than trading him and if its false, I still want him to be a Dolphin in 2006!

3) I wanted to Trade Ricky before this report, but if its false, it ticks me off, and I now want to keep him in Miami!

4) I didnt want to Trade Ricky before this report, but even if false, the risk is to great and I now want to trade Ricky to get some value and cut all ties.

For me, its #4, I was on the fence with keeping him or trading him. But this potential risk concerns me and I think we should now trade him to receive any value which would benefit Miami, vs. fearing it could happen and be true in the future and we get nothing.

i wanted to trade him before and want to trade him now....he's 29 and a major risk...im happy with what he did and i love his game....but a conditional 4th rd pick would be enough for me to pull the trigger...we need tog et rid oh him and move on with ronnie

I tend to agree with you.

If true, sure he'd get cut now, no trade bvalue

Lets stick with its being false for poll purposes.....if it is true then the poll is moot.

Also, I was wondering if anyone would pick #3 I see one person has, who and why??

Very interesting.

I say keep him and it is Miami's best interest to defend him if they can. The cost of his salary a long with his possible production is reason enough.

Wow, 5 folks have changed from Trade before this report to keep Ricky now if this report turns out to be false, very interesting indeed.

Will anyone who feels this way, please post a response as to why?

Why is there a poll with 4 choices, but in reality there are only two answers?

Trade Ricky or keep Ricky?

Only because the 4 answers are unique each to themselves about your prior feelings and if this report turns out to be false, how you now feel.

The results are interesting as prior views have changed for some, and for others this only confirms their previous opinion.

Which one did you pick?

Even if this isn't true and Ricky can play in 2006, Ricky's trade value already been lowered because of this. I say we just keep him in 2006 and trade him in 2007.

Because if it is false, meaning it was a media misrepresentation, Ricky still sits with me as a person who overcame his adversities and should not be viewed different because some journalists made some "sh*t" up.

I enjoy ricky and his running style, reguardless of his offfield issues. I have less hatred towards him than some NFL player who beats his wife or is going to jail for assult or something.

If this is all a false report i want ricky for at least one more year unless he can be dealt for a very good player / pick. which I don't see happening unless he has one more year of great numbers and no official mishaps regarding the NFL substance abuse program.

This is my opinion of course if the reports are false. If they are true, i would view it much differently

One definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

I suspect that even if this somehow blows over, Ricky will eventually be the center of another distraction. The Dolphins will be best served to part ways with him, preferably with some compensation. However, that seems very remote at this time.

i would only trade him for an early second or late first.no other exceptions

Try to get a 1st round pick or a high 2nd rounder. If no one wants to give that, then Run Ricky Run.
