i guess i'm a homer, as i like the chud or moss idea. plus i'm a jay gruden fan from his days with the predators as both qb and coach. i would like any of them over anyone else in the list. but like all of us, this is my opinion as a fan (and miami/fla homer).

but i thought i read where moss ws going to be signed as the new raiders coach, so he may be out.

and records don't mean much, shula was hired here after he lost a superbowl to the jets (colts were favored to win).

i just want to see the dolphins relevant again.

I doubt it really matters who the coach is if Ireland is still here but I really hope Todd Bowles gets it now because he deserves it.

He's been assistant HC for quite a while, finally got a chance at the end of the season and I thought acquitted himself as well as anyone could have hoped. Two wins against divisional opponents and a narrow defeat in Foxboro. That's a good run of results whichever way you look at it and I have to ask what on earth was the point of making that change if he never had a chance of landing the job ? He's at least as good a candidate as any of the other unproven young coaches we've interviewed

Zimmer, Toub, Chud. In that order.

Also, why are people like Shottenheimer, Carmichael, and Billick even on the list? I'd like to see a poll limited to realistic candidates.

i want to see us get chud the most, followed by moss, and then philbin, zimmer, toub, carmichael, bowles etc.

why wouldnt he be a realistic choice?

Philbin all the way. I want our team to adopt the philosophy that they have on offense which is "get down the fild vertically as fast as possible". Put pressure on the D instead of trying to deal with the pressure that the D puts on you.

I want the right guy for the job. Said it all along. Interview whoever you want and decide from there. If we have to wait till after the Super Bowl to hire them so be it.

Wow thats tough. Billick, Philbin if he brings flyn or what should of been my first pick Chud

This is why I wasnt Chud:
Chudzinski served as the tight ends coach and interim offensive coordinator of the Cleveland Browns in 2004. In 2005, Chudzinski was hired as the tight ends coach of the San Diego Chargers. With the Chargers, he coached All-Pro tight end Antonio Gates. In 2007, Chudzinski was named the offensive coordinator of the Cleveland Browns.[SUP][2][/SUP] That year the Browns ranked eighth overall on offense, sent 4 offensive players to the Pro Bowl, and finished 2nd in the AFC North with a record of 10-6, their most wins since 1994. However, after the 2008 season Chudzinski was replaced by Brian Daboll as offensive coordinator, following the firing of Browns head coach Romeo Crennel and the hiring of new head coach Eric Mangini. In 2009, Chudzinski returned to the San Diego Chargers as the tight ends coach and assistant head coach.
In 2011, Chudzinski was named the Carolina Panthers offensive coordinator. He took one of the league's worst offenses in 2010 and transformed it into one of the top 10 offenses in 2011. The Panthers finished seventh overall in the league on offense, fifth in points scored, and set a new franchise record for total yards in a season. Chudzinski has emerged as a top candidate for head coaching vacancies throughout the league.

Mike Zimmer.

He's a tremendous leader and motivator. He has gotten great production out a group of defenders that have limited talent. He is adaptable. The players respect him. This is a guy that can command a room full of men and motivate a marshmallow to turn into steel.
