The Dolphins have "pre-interviewed" 12 candidates with "football intensive" interviews to start as early as next week. Who is your top 5?

Mine:
Mike Tomlin
Dom Capers
Jim Mora Jr.
Ron Rivera
Darkhorse: Bill Cowher

you can take tim lewis off their....apparently he wants to run a cover 2 and we dont want to

Jim Mora Jr
Ron Rivera
Cam Cameron
Ron Turner
Don Capers

Cam Cameron
Ken Whisenhunt
Ron Rivera
Mike Tomlin
Jim Mora Jr.

mike tomlin
brian schottenheimer
cam cameron
ron rivera
don capers

martz
rivera
whisenhunt
capers
gailey

I think it will end up being Capers or Rivera when this is all over.

In order

Dom Capers (if he fails Cowher/ Fisher next year)
Brian Schottenheimer (same as above)
Pete Carroll (good defensive mind, probably leaqrned something about offense from Chow, probably the most sure bet but I just dont like his personality)
Cam Cameron (hard to tell how much of the offensive production is his and how much the players)
Ken Whisenhunt (I think he'll be good but not sure if he leaves Pittsburgh)
dark horses: The Ryan Brothers (fantastic defensive minds, offense question)
Marty Mohrinweg (genius off coord, is he ready for prime time again. seems he's in Philly to stay until Andy is ready to step down)

Dom Capers, This team needs an experienced coach. And total defensive continuity would be advantageous for us.

In order of my preference:

Rivera
Carroll
Wisenhunt
Gailey
Capers

When this came up a day or two ago in another thread, I chose Cameron over Capers. The more I think about it, the more I think Capers will be in the final 5 for a number of reasons. I really don't think he has a chance at the job, though.

I think Tomlin is in the running because of his minority status. I think they're looking for a coach that can shore up the offense and QB rather than another defensive coach. Their ideal situation is to make Capers Head coach and maybe Cameron assistant HC and offensive coordinator.

1) Dom Capers
2) Jim Mora
3) Ken Whisenhunt
4) Cam Cameron
5) Ron Rivera

No thanks : Kurt Schottenheimer, Mike Tomlin, Tim Lewis, Chan Gailey, Ron Turner, Mike Martz
