I don't care who we get.

Just win and take me to a Super Bowl please.

If that is your attempt at baiting me into a personal attack so you can ban me again, you've failed. I'm sure wherever you live is super cool.

I do. Much cooler than LA, unless endless freeways and neurotic, high-strung individuals are your cup of tea.

I don't think we have enough ammunition to trade up for RG3, if we did it would be a close call between Manning and RG3 for me,still probably Manning would win it. The thought of him suiting up in a Dolphins uniform is just too much of a fantastic thought to pass up on. I know we'll only see 3 to 4 years out of him or even less but you can gaurentee it'll be a good 3 to 4 years if he stays injury free of course.

We still need to look to the future, so we need to look at either this years or next years draft for our QB of the future. And if Manning doesn't land here and we can't get up to RG3, I would rather we take Weeden in the 2nd than Flynn. Keeping Moore in our back pocket at insurance.

Our QB should be Peyton as starter with Moore as the backup.

Yes indeed. I'm starting to warm up to Peyton if he is healthy. Keep Moore as back-up and perhaps pick up Brock Osweiler in later round if he is available. The kid has a cannon for an arm and is accurate, not to mention that he is 6'8, 240lbs. Just very young and raw. I think Peyton would be the perfect mentor for him.

Right, you must be so proud of yourself. Why did you feel the need to interject in this whole thing? Just curious, cause it seems like you are trying to instigate something here. Seems like a moderator on this site should be a little more objective and less confrontational, but I guess not. Knock yourself out.

I hope that we don't get used again...................... If he is healthy enough for at least 2-3 years, Peyton makes it a no brainer. We are close to fielding a very good team. We also need a young gun for the future as well.

Oh, well, I hadn't read the thread, and when I read through, I saw that you were mad (like usual) about someone, called something lame, so I just wanted to say that I thought LA was lame, too. Not you. You're not that important. So.......

To me the Peyton Manning question is of secondary importance.

The FIRST thing Miami needs to make sure they do is address the long term future of the position. That's not Peyton Manning. Manning is a one or two year stopgap, if he's even able to play that much.

What the Dolphins have failed to do for 15 years is address the long term future of the position. You don't finally do that by signing a 36 year old Peyton Manning with neck bones that are flaking like a french pastry. That's just another Chad Pennington type signing. You need to make an INVESTMENT in someone that will be the long term future of the franchise. The only effect Peyton's signing would have on that would be the elimination of Matt Flynn as that long term answer. That's fine. But you still have to get your long term future at the position.

AND DON'T SKIMP!

I see this all the time. Oh well we've got Peyton so maybe let's wait until the 3rd or 4th round and grab someone like Kirk Cousins or B.J. Coleman. Peyton Manning's presence doesn't suddenly make Tim Hasselbeck into Matt Hasselbeck. You're either getting a quarterback worth a damn or you're not and history shows that when you try and go the cheap option, much more often you're NOT. The only reason waiting like that would be justified would be if you were genuinely convinced one of those guys (Cousins, Lindley or Coleman) is better than any guy you could get even at #8 overall, highly undervalued, etc.

The reality is Peyton Manning should not appear on this poll. This poll should be limited to Matt Flynn, Ryan Tannehill, Robert Griffin, Brandon Weeden or Other. Peyton Manning should appear on a separate poll because it's a separate question.

How many MVPs does Matt Flynn have?

I am surprised at the amount of people that want Manning as the QB. I honestly think it would set back the franchise another 2-3 years minimally. You don't build your franchise around a 36 year old QB who has had 4 neck surgeries in the last 2 years. i have seen this act too many times, it never works.

There goes another personal attack. Wow. Way to generalize. Why don't you go back and read my previous 100 posts? No complaining. But you did actually read one of those posts and I was complimentary of someone. You send me a PM saying how proud you are of me because that is so unlike me. Wow. What a compliment. I think you just prejudge some people on this site (refer to your profile page and all the complaints there...heck, I even have a better rep than you, as one green dot is better than none) and then instigate those you don't like. I guess I must be important to you, though, based on your continued need to respond to my posts. Thanks for saying otherwise, even though you've never met me. I know I'm just as important to the Miami Dolphins as you are and much more important to so many other people in REAL life. And that is all that really matters to me. Have fun with your internet message board power. I'm done with you. Ban me if you want, even though I adhered to the TOS this whole time. Respond if you want, but I won't read it. I love my Miami Dolphins and I love my life and there is nothing YOU can do about that.

To all you other ladies and gentlemen on this site that don't have a problem with me, this could be my last post ever. Thanks for everything. It was fun while it lasted. Farewell and may Manning win us the big one!!!!!!

Yep. I can remember all of those other times that 4 time league MVPs were released after missing a season at age 35. All of them were epic failures.

Damn. First Peyton Manning leaves the Colts and now this!! What a day. At this point I wont be shocked if Hootie leaves the blowfish before the night is through.
