Who Lost The Game Offense or Defense?

Any option for both?

Offense (with the exception of a few drives), couldnt convert on 3rd downs. They need to eat more clock and keep our D rested.

Defense still has big problems in the secondary, which is hurting our run D (pulling LB's out to help on coverage.)

We should have lost and we did. We were lucky the score was that close (due to the turnovers.)

And it wasnt totally all the defense....I put the blame squarley on the secondary. Porter was sacking, the line was rushing the secondary dropped the ball big time. Not only did they lose this game but they are going to lose future games. Teams are noticing our huge weakness and will take advantage of it like the Chargers did against the Pats.

how is this even a question?

While ST and offense didn't do anything amazing, they did enough to win the game. The defense did nothing.

we needed to control the clock more, but the defense was getting torched in the middle of the field. we have to do something about our secondary play.

Yea,our db's were getting torched.
On that last drive,it just amazed me,how their wr's
were getting separation for long pass plays.

Well considering our offense put up 28 points on the road and the defense only gave up 22 points, I think the answer would be ST's.

You score 28 in this league...you should win every week! Period...

In the end, it was Offense, Defense AND Special Teams.

The playcalling in the first half was horrible and played to their D's strengths. We were passing way too early, especially with the players they have on D-line and the speed they have at LB. We should have been grinding them down instead of getting all cute. We needed o take time off the clock, keep our defense fresh and keep their defense on the field, and the playcalling I saw didn't help any of that at all.

The defense did step up a few times early, but they just couldn't make a damn play when the game was on the line. Not having a player watching the QB in that situation is almost as bad as when we had a LB covering Boldin in the Cardinals game. HUGE error, but I'm not sure if it was coaching or communication. We left at least 2 picks on the field, not to mention that Bell/Johnson moment (which I can only partially blame Bell for...it was a great catch by Johnson).

As for special teams...well...COVER THE DAMN PUNT! There was no excuse for that gimme TD they gave up. None.

The bright side is that most of these were the mistakes of a young team, and we are still playing competitive football. Plus, we're 2 games out of first. 2 games. That game was a hard pill to swallow and we all have good reason for being upset at the outcome. But we have no reason to give up hope when we've already seen so much improvement out of our team from a year ago. Keep the faith, learn from our mistakes, and let's take down the Ravens like it's 2007.

GO FINS!

Niether.....The Offense did what they were suppose to do, score. The Defense played poorly, but did good enough to let our offenense take the lead most of the time.

Special Teams killed us.

When you see a QB- 379yds passing and a WR- 178 yds catching. There is not much to talk about.
