So basically if we win out we are division champs and in the playoffs 100%....pretty sick!...so it begs the question....how many think its gonna happen? Will the phins go 11-5 and into the playoffs?

It would be nice, but I don't see it.

Agreed. 3 of the 4 are away from the friendly confines of Dolphin Stadium. The road in the NFL is not made of yellow bricks, but all kinds of creepy experiences can await.

Still, when I look at the schedule each game measured individually is very winnable, with the Jets game being the biggest ? mark. Hopefully, the Dolphins make it to the Land of Oz.

i don't see it either...but regardless of how the rest of this season turns out...i'll consider it a success when you look at where we were last year...

i hope they do make it to 11-5, that would give us the division title...but its a tough road, KC and NYJ will not make it easy, especially weather wise

Sadly, I don't see it happening. I pray that it will, and I can continue dreaming about it, but in the end I say the odds are against it. I see us finishing the season either 9-7 or 10-6.

Why not. Lets do this ****. Ya gotta believe at least.

I think if we play our best we can easy run the table the next three weeks, New York is where the problem is gonna happen. I still think we can beat them though, but I would really love to see them and New England each pick up another loss to help our chances.

:woot:believe in now:hi5:

bravado aside i still think 10-6 would be freaking phenominal.

My head overrules my heart on this one. All this barely squeaking by marginal opponents will catch up to us, especially now that Smiley and Camarillo are down. Earlier in the season, wildcat gimmicks or not, I just had the sense for the first in a long time that we were in control and command. The last several games IMO, it's felt more like a crapshoot. Coaching and QBing make the difference, but we still lack the some of the thoroughbred horses we need to finish in the money, IMO.

That said, if we can win even 10 games, this season will have far, far, far exceeded my expectations and I'll have no complaints. Anything above and beyond that to me is tasty icing on the cake.

We have won 3/7 games away and lost 2/5 away....We are a pretty decent road team at 3-2 IMO. It could happen!

the only reason why i am worried is the injuries...camarillo and smiley hurt badly

but screw that i am on board and think we will win all 4 and if we do that we might host a playoff game ?

if so i will definitely go

I couldn't have said it better. We have been winning games based on winning the turnover battle (Great QB'ing, fairly opportunistic defense) and solid coaching. That's how you win a close game.

But we don't have the personell to dominate even marginal to bad teams. In december on the road it's a damn tough row to plow asking Pennington and Sparano to ENGINEER a win in a tight game 4 straight times.

I give us a great chance of going 10-6, and I think 11-5 is possible because I still don't buy all the Jets hype, but it is unlikely. I'm happy with 10-6, a great offseason to fill our position deficincies, and then with the right tools in place a dominant team in the future.

Let's all root for 11-5 and the division... but lets also root against BAL and INDY! (Check out BAL's remaining schedule, now thats a tough december)
