Poll: Will You Be Rooting For Chad Henne To Succeed Or Fail?

I don't have to root for Henne to fail. His career to this point already indicates he WILL fail yet again this season.

I love how the haters say "Of course I'm rooting for Henne, BUT I know he sucks and is going to fail." Seriously they not see anything wrong with that statement???

I dont see the problem with it TBH. People dont see him as a QB that cant take us to the next level, thus have no faith in him to do so. That doesn't mean when it comes to week 1 they will be rooting for the Pats. I mean, why are opposing fans, pundits, ex team-mates allowed to criticize Henne, yet the people who watch every snap he took the last 2 seasons unable to?

Just because your a fan, doesn't mean you have to have a positive opinion on all your players, especially when your an 7-9 team.

I always root for the Dolphins to win it. I hope Henne does well and lives up to his potentiall. Hopefully Henne, Moore or someone else can step up and become our franchise QB, and then maybe we can be a team that can compete for the AFC East every year and hopefully a SB in the near future.

The delusional folks who "know" Henne will do well ... are simply equally delusional about football, truth, rationality, analysis, & other folks.

They make up delusional facts to fit their delusional opinions ... how do you think they reach their conclusions?? (like to hear that!!)

Meh .. I'd be estatic for Henne to even become just pretty good ... but I think the odds are so long, that I'll win the lottery first ( & I only play about once a year when its HUGE)

I have absolutely no problem with criticism of Henne. Honestly, he sure has done more than enough to earn it. It's just the immature and ignorant way people do it on here. Saying things like "Henne blows" or "Henne sucks" is the way an 13 year old criticizes something. It's a black eye on our fan base. Hopefully the Mods will finally step in and fix it like they did with the stupid rhyme these exact same people came up with Sparano's name.

Actually, the only point made here is that just about everyone on the board here wants the team to win and will root for the team (QB name doesn't matter). Doesn't mean that everyone supports Henne being the Phins starting QB (which I'm not sure we have any other options at this point), but that's the way it is for now. Will I support my team including it's incapable QB? Of course I will. Do I think he'll likely succeed this year? Probably not. But the two things are completely different.

Some people will root for Henne to fail, that's the point.

What makes you say that Vaark? I think it would be very rare to find someone who wants their own team to fail to be "right." People who come to this forum especially, dedicate so much of their time to the Fins that it's just completely illogical to think that.

There is right now a group of people who want to see Henne fail, the Dolphins fail for the right to be able to a chance at Luck. Are they worse fans, then that want Miami to succeed? That depends on who you ask. Do they hate the dolphins? No, they believe, getting Luck puts Miami on top for years to come.

Point is, there are fans that do want to see Henne fail, and will root for that very thing to happen.
