Poll: Will You Be Rooting For Chad Henne To Succeed Or Fail?

This is awesome... it's laughable that just about everyone selected a form of succeed. Furthermore, a few posters even called this dumb claiming that we are all rooting for Chad Henne.

Yet the boards are literally flooded with 'Henne sucks - start Moore' threads.

It is quite logical and rational to want him to succeed, while also realizing he has not played like a quality starting QB and that either he needs to play better, or the team needs to go in another direction.

Lol this thread was a miserable failure. As if, trying to goad fans into essentially saying they want their QB to play poorly, just because most people aren't on backup caliber QBs jock. We're stuck with Henne now, there's no point in hoping for him to fail, unless you're a part of the small fraction of "fans" that want to suck for Luck. That said, no reason those of us who realize Henne is a career back-up can't poke a little fun at him when the opportunity presents itself. When the dude consisently plays like a starting qb should I'll lay off

I don't have a problem with the poll itself, but people's interpretation of the results seems to be flawed. I hate Chad Henne and I don't think we will be a super bowl contender as long as he is the starting QB. However, I am rooting for him to succeed because that makes the Dolphins a better team. That does not in any way make me a hypocrite. If he succeeds I would gladly eat crow, I just don't see that happening. To say this poll points out hypocrites is just wrong imo. It is possible to hate someone on the team and yet still want them to get better. I hated Thurman Thomas when he came to the Dolphins, but I was still rooting for him to be successful.

I am an Ohio State fan and I spent 4 years wanting and watching Henne to fail. Now that he is a Dolphin all his past Michigan transgressions are forgiven and I want him to do well. This is a stupid question if you are a legit Dolphins fan.

Wheres the option "Root for Henne to succeed, but dont expect him to"? The same poll can be made for our head coach/overall regime.

Better yet, why not make the poll "You think everyone on this team and staff are awesome and always make the right decisions, or you're a fake fan."?
