if gus didn't get knocked out of the game, do you think we would have beaten the bills?

Gus was off on his throws....if he stayed in we would have lost.

It just seemed that the team had more confidence in Sage, the line blocked better and WR's actually caught some balls. Sage impressed me alot better accuracy than Gus in this game.

Same Situation at Buffalo, but only down by 7 and we lost with Gus in. That should answer your question.

How does this scenario answer anything? I don't seem to remember Gus fumbling late in that game.

It makes no diffence, the game is over. even saban said he excels in the 2 min offense. While he was a spark with chambers he was a dud with gilmore. You can't play the results.

You can swing it either way. the fact is we have gus and sage for now and saban said that gus = #1 and sage =#2 end of disscusion. I have a feeling Nick isn't going to listen to us about it!

I dont think we could of came back if gus was in it may have been close but i dont think so

gilmore had balls he should have caught.

the biggest difference between gus and sage was the mental aspect.

Gus went out there and looked like a deer in the headlights, sage went out and had the 'what the heck? lets just try to do something positive'

I thought that once buffalo was up 23 to 3 they started playing not to lose, instead of playing to win. That and kick in that the offense strung together like 4 good plays in the first 5 minutes that put them up 21 in the first place.

So once we had scored the two TD's Buffalo's defense was mentally defeated and they were on their heels and probably pretty fatigued having to defend 65 pass plays in the rel heat (compared to buffalo).

It also helps that chambers caught the ball on 4th down, but I was wondering why with the ball on like the 5 we didnt even attempt a run? Not that it matters now
GO PHINS

I think the proper question should be does the oline finally decide to block if Gus isn't knocked out? I guess they finally figured out that the QB can get hurt if they don't do their job...
