Poole adjusts to 'new kid' role

I'm sorry but if Poole is 100% healthy and ready to go, I would NOT start Travis Daniels over Will Poole. I rather have Andre Goodman start over Daniels.

Daniels is going to start.Saban loves this kid.

In one of his interviews Saban talks about Poole showing that he didn't play last year. He is basically saying that he still hasn't completely caught onto what they are trying to do in the secondary. I know there is still a lot of time left, but the time he's taking to learn what is going on that is time Daniels in improving on his weaknesses. I think Poole has a lot of talent, but I'm not sure he's going to be starting this season.

Why? Daniels came in and played amazing for a rookie. Yes he got burnt at times but that happens with every corner. Look at Will Allen last year against Santana Moss, it's not like it dosen't happen to most corners. Daniels is exactly what you look for in a corner. He's young, big, physical, experienced, and he knows the system like the back of his hand. Here's how the DB line-up should go IMO...

RCB-Will Allen
LCB-T.Daniels
NB- Will Poole
DB- Andre Goodman
DB2-Shirdonya Mitchell

I really like Will Poole, but if he hasn't shown Saban what he wants to see then he shouldn't start. Right now Saban knows what Travis Danils can do so that is his guy.

Until Poole gets up to par that is.. Once he's comfortable with the system then he's clearly better than most of our db's.

who in the world is Shirdonya Mitchell ive never heard of the guy

He was undrafted free agent from last year's draft. He was a projected as a late first day/early second day pick. Problem was, he tore his ACL at a workout (Combine?), which landed him on IR along with Will Poole, who coincidently has the same kind of injury. He is quick and fast, hitting 4.3's in the 40.

Mitchel & Poole both have all-kinds of potential, but they have to be able to stay on the field! I hope they can be healthy and make Saban's choice a tough one as to who plays. But having said this, I will trust in the coaches decision...
